Service bulletin TSB 26-2186
A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

NHTSA's summary
This bulletin supersedes 26-2146. Reason for update: to add a labor operation for replacing two brackets. Some of the vehicles listed in the Model statement above may exhibit a condition where the plastic trim around the universal serial bus (USB)-C ports on the first-row seat back is loose. This may be due to the USB-C bracket.

| SSM 55220 | 2026-10-12. Service bulletin. Some 2024-2026 Nautilus and 2025-2026 Explorer/Aviator/Expedition/Navigator vehicles may experience Android Auto connection or general Bluetooth pairing concerns for both Android and IOS after an APIM software update. This may be due to the APIM software. To temporarily correct the issue:<br /><br /> * For Android Auto related issues: Clear Android Auto app storage in the center display screen. Vehicle Settings > Settings > Apps > Android Auto > Clear Storage. <br /> * For general Bluetooth connectivity issues: Clear Contacts Storage app storage in the center display screen. Vehicle Settings > Apps > Uncheck hide system apps > Contacts Storage > Clear Storage.<br /><br /> If the condition persists, perform a master reset from the center display screen, remove the vehicle from the phone, then re-pair the device.<br /><br /> If the condition continues to persist, refer to Workshop Manual (WSM), Section 415-00 for normal diagnostics and repair as necessary outside of this article.<br /><br /> If the condition is resolved, inform customers that engineering is currently working on a permanent solution |

| SSM 55208 | 2026-09-30. Service bulletin. Some 2024-2026 F-150, 2025 Explorer/Aviator, 2025-2026 Expedition/Navigator, or 2026 F-Super Duty vehicles may exhibit diagnostic trouble code (DTC) U211B:43:48 stored in the body control module (BCM) when performing a Self-Test. This DTC sets due to an internal BCM timing issue during the self-test process. This specific code has no customer impact and does not cause any drivability concerns or warning messages. Clearing DTC U211B:43:48, reprogramming the BCM, or replacing the BCM is unlikely to prevent this DTC from setting. This DTC does not trigger a condition covered under warranty. Note: This guidance only applies to U211B with the specific failure byte 43 in status 48. Any other trusted real-time operation network (TRON) DTCs or different failure bytes associated with U211B are still applicable and technicians must follow Workshop Manual (WSM) normal diagnostics for those DTCs. |
| TSB 26-2423 | 2026-09-29. Service bulletin. This bulletin supersedes 26-2280. Reason for update: To add 2027 vehicle models, update the Parts list to change the tape, and revise Step 4 to change the tape and wrap an additional wiring harness. Some of the vehicles listed in the Model Statement above may exhibit a concern where the horn intermittently sounds when turning the steering wheel. This may be due to incorrect routing of a wire harness in the steering wheel, a loose strand of wire protruding from a wire harness and grounding the driver airbag, and/or a concern with one of the driver airbag mounting points. |
| RCM-26.AD Expedition&Navi | 2026-09-28. Over-the-air update. Quality improvements include: -Restraints Control Module update to implement robust power-on reset logic. |
| IPMA-26.11.0 Exped&Nav | 2026-09-28. Over-the-air update. Quality improvements include: -Image Processing Module A update to the latest software level |
| SSM 55131 | 2026-09-02. Service bulletin. Some 2025-2026 Aviator/Explorer/Expedition/F-150/Mustang Mach-E/Nautilus/Navigator vehicles may exhibit the hands-free BlueCruise feature intermittently/consistently unavailable when BlueCruise is active and when traveling in a "Blue Zone". Speed sign recognition may also be inaccurate. If there are no active relevant diagnostic trouble codes (DTC) present and the issue persists after multiple key cycles and if the BlueCruise System Health Check passes, download and run the "TCU - Reset Telematics Control Unit (TCU) Module" application using the latest software level of the Ford Diagnosis and Repair System (FDRS). If the condition is resolved, inform customers that this may be a temporary fix and engineering is currently working on a solution expected in Q4 2026. Monitor Professional Technician System (PTS) for additional information and schedule service appointments for customers once the repair becomes available. For claiming, use causal 14G229 and labor operations 12651D and 12651D4. If the condition persists after a test drive, refer to Workshop Manual (WSM), Section 419-03B for normal |
| SSM 55100 | 2026-09-01. Service bulletin.
