Service bulletins for the 2023 Ford Escape

A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

TSB 23-23082023-11-02. Service bulletin. SERVICE BRAKES, AIR:DISC:CALIPER; POWER TRAIN:AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION:INTERNAL:BEARINGS/BUSHINGS; EQUIPMENT. Some 2020-2023 Escape and 2021-2023 Bronco Sport vehicles may exhibit a moan noise when the vehicle is driven in reverse (R) in cold weather and/or high humidity. This may be due to the suspension sensitivity of the vehicle. To correct this condition, follow the Service Procedure to replace the standard and reinforced rear caliper bushings and apply Kluberpaste to the machined surfaces of the brake caliper and caliper support bracket.
TSB 23-22752023-09-01. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:SOFTWARE; POWER TRAIN:AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION:CONTROL MODULE (TCM/PCM/TECM). Some 2023 Escape/Corsair vehicles built on or before 25-May-2023 equipped with a 2.0L EcoBoost engine may exhibit an illuminated malfunction indicator lamp (MIL) with diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) P0300 and/or P0316. This may be due to the software in the powertrain control module (PCM). To correct this condition, follow the Service Procedure to reprogram the PCM.

The summaries are NHTSA's. Each bulletin's page links NHTSA's copy of the manufacturer's document.
