Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) U0415:00 may also be stored in the power steering control module (PSCM), DTC C0051:67 stored in the anti-lock brake system (ABS) module and DTC U0418:86 stored in the image processing module A (IPMA). This may be due to the software in the PSCM. Using the latest version of Ford Diagnosis and Repair System (FDRS) scan tool, update the PSCM to the latest software level. Some 2020-2021 Escapes/Corsair vehicles may exhibit an illuminated stability-traction control indicator lamp with diagnostic trouble code (DTC) C1B00:62 in the power steering control module (PSCM) and DTC C0051:67 in the anti-lock brake system (ABS) module. This may be due to a misalignment between the steering column shaft and the steering wheel. To resolve the condition, follow the Service Procedure to properly align the steering column shaft and steering wheel.
TSB 20-23232020-10-02. Service bulletin. SERVICE BRAKES, AIR:ANTILOCK:WHEEL SPEED SENSOR; ELECTRONIC STABILITY CONTROL:AUTOMATIC (ASC); ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. Some 2020 Escape/Corsair vehicles built on or before 2-Sep-2020 may exhibit an illuminated anti-lock brake system (ABS) and/or stability-traction control lamp with diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) C0031, C0034 and/or C0051. This may be due to the ABS wheel speed sensor harness rubbing on the front wheels. To correct the condition, follow the Service Procedure steps to inspect the ABS wheel speed sensor harness and install the pigtail service kit.
