Service bulletins for the 2013 Dodge Durango

A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

218 on file from NHTSA, as of 2026-10-19.

Adaptive Cruise Control Sensor 1) If you are replacing this part due to the cluster displaying Clean Radar Sensor in Front of Vehicle or DTC C1266 ACC Sensor Blinded, please verify that there is no blockage in front of the sensor. Blockage can occur from mud, ice, snow, front end damage, bracket damage, the sensor not attached to the bracket properly or an aftermarket fascia installed. This fault can occur intermittently in muddy or icy/snowy conditions and is considered normal operation. Under some circumstances, a misaligned sensor can also cause the C1266 DTC, please complete an alignment procedure. No replacement is required.~ 2) If you are replacing this part due to the cluster displaying ?ACC/FCW Unavailable Service Required?, please check the DTC fault codes. This will indicate which module needs to be serviced (TCM, PCM, ESP/ABS, etc). This fault is not due to the ACC Sensor. No sensor replacement is required.~ 3) If you have fault code DTC C125E ACC Sensor Adjustment Required, please verify that the radar sensor is fully seated in the clips and there is no damage (if clips are damaged on a 2013 or earlier vehicle, order P/N 68085813A$, otherwise please replace the module), please verify there is no blockage to the sensor due to mud, ice, snow, front end damage, bracket damage or the sensor not attached to the bracket properly. The vehicle duty cycle information used in the AOCI calculation is stored in the PCM and cannot be recovered/transferred when the controller is replaced. As a result, the severe duty cycle is used in these scenarios to ensure the customer receives a timely oil change required message.
P140402142018-06-11. Service bulletin. SERVICE BRAKES, HYDRAULIC. New Safety Recall Advanced Communication ? P14040214 Chrysler Group LLC (Chrysler) announced a safety recall on certain 2011 through 2014 model year (WD) Dodge Durango and (WK) Jeep Grand Cherokee vehicles. Some Jeep Grand Cherokee and Dodge Durango vehicles may have a brake booster that could prematurely corrode. If perforation of the brake booster shell (due to corrosion) occurs, the brake booster may ingest water during vehicle operation during wet weather conditions. A brake booster that has experienced water ingestion may have the brake function compromised if the water inside the brake booster freezes. The driver may be required to apply additional application force to apply the brakes during sub-freezing driving conditions. An unexpected additional brake pedal application force requirement could slow the driver?s brake application reaction time and cause a crash without warning. Chrysler will conduct a voluntary safety recall on all involved vehicles to inspect the brake booster for corrosion. Brake boosters found with excessive corrosion will be replaced. All boosters will be equipped with a shield to protect the brake booster crimp joints from water exposure. Dealers will be notified of the launch of this safety recall by way of established methods used in the past. We ask that you please take the time to ensure that your personnel are aware of this communication and are prepared to execute a customer friendly process for inquiries on involved vehicles.
