G-1589652017-08-15. Service bulletin. SEATS:FRONT ASSEMBLY:SEAT HEATER/COOLER; EQUIPMENT:ELECTRICAL:RADIO/TAPE DECK/CD ETC.. 12265 - Service Update. Replace the radio control assembly. The radio volume increases to maximum level without input and the radio cannot be turned off. This condition may or may not occur on subsequent ignition cycles. Also, the heated and/or ventilated seat operation may turn on without input, and/or the outside buttons on the radio control assembly may not work.
G-1578932017-08-15. Service bulletin. EQUIPMENT:ELECTRICAL:RADIO/TAPE DECK/CD ETC.; SEATS:FRONT ASSEMBLY:SEAT HEATER/COOLER. 13003A - Service Update (revised instructions ). The radio volume increases to maximum level without input and the radio cannot be turned off. This condition may or may not occur on subsequent ignition cycles. Also, the heated and/or ventilated seat operation may turn on without input, and/or the outside buttons on the radio control assembly may not work. Dealers are to run a diagnostic procedure to verify the integrity of the indium tin oxide (ITO) sensing of the radio control assembly. If the diagnostic procedure determines a concern with the ITO sensing, dealers are to replace the radio control assembly.

PIC5322C2017-08-15. Service bulletin. SEATS; ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. This Preliminary Information communication advises the technician of a customer concern where the heated seat indicator light is not functioning or the heated seats are not up to operating temperature during a remote vehicle start event. This is normal operation of the heated seat during a remote vehicle start event. The electronic climate control module is not in a complete wake up state during a remote vehicle start mode and will not enable the light emitting diode. After a cold soak below 32 degrees Fahrenheit the seat will not get hot in the 10 minutes or less of the remote vehicle start mode. This is due to the fact that the heat element is not in direct contract with the seat surface while the seat is unoccupied and the foam below the heater is full cold insulating air which takes time to heat up. Technician is to communicate to the customer this condition is a normal operating characteristic of their vehicle. It will not impact the designed performance or reliability of the vehicle. Please share this information with the customer, including a copy of this message.

Technician should be advised that the updated calibration installed during Service Update Bulletin 12262 will eliminate the "RKE Memory positions" and will now link memory 1 and 2 to the fobs.

PIC59962017-08-15. Service bulletin. SEATS; STEERING; WHEELS; EQUIPMENT:APPLIANCE:AIR CONDITIONER. This Preliminary Information communication provides information to the technician about when the heated ventilated seat, rear defogger, heated steering wheel and Heater-Vent-Air Conditioning operation will occur during remote vehicle start event. During a Remote Vehicle Start event, the heated seats will turn to the high setting when the ambient temperature is below 50 degrees Fahrenheit (10 degrees Celsius). During a remote start event, the ventilated seats will turn to the high setting when the ambient temperature is above 80 degrees Fahrenheit (27 degrees Celsius). During a remote start event, the rear window defogger will turn on if the outside temperature is 44 degrees Fahrenheit (7 degrees Celsius) or below. The heated steering wheel does not turn on during a remote start event. During a remote start event, the Heater-Vent-Air Conditioning system will operate using the settings they were last set at when the car was shut off prior to the remote vehicle start event.
