| 21V473000 | 2021-06-24. SUSPENSION:REAR. General Motors, LLC (GM) is recalling certain 2010-2016 Cadillac SRX and 2011-2012 Saab 9-4X vehicles. The rear suspension toe link adjuster may not have been tightened properly, which could result in a loose toe link. NHTSA advises: do not drive until the repair is done. |

| 14V571000 | 2014-09-19. SUSPENSION:REAR. General Motors LLC (GM) is recalling certain model year 2010-2015 Cadillac SRX vehicles manufactured April 14, 2009, to September 1, 2014, and 2011-2012 Saab 9-4X vehicles manufactured February 1, 2011, to September 13, 2011. On the affected vehicles, the jam nut in the rear suspension toe adjuster link may not be torqued to the proper specification. A loose toe adjuster link can cause the vehicle to sway or wander at highway speeds. A loose toe adjuster link may lead to thread damage and eventual failure. Failure of the toe adjuster link will cause an abrupt change in the vehicle's alignment. Built 2012-05-29 to 2013-07-26. |
| 14V212000 | 2014-04-25. POWER TRAIN:AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION:CONTROL MODULE (TCM/PCM/TECM). General Motors LLC (GM) is recalling certain model year 2013 Cadillac SRX vehicles manufactured May 29, 2012, through June 26, 2013, and equipped with 3.6L engines. In the affected vehicles, in certain driving situations, there may be a three to four second lag in acceleration due to the transmission control module (TCM) programming. Built 2012-05-29 to 2013-07-26. |
| 13V202000 | 2013-05-16. WHEELS:LUGS/NUTS/BOLTS/STUDS. General Motors (GM) is recalling certain model year 2013 Cadillac SRX vehicles, manufactured January 31, 2012, through March 18, 2013, and equipped with 18 inch wheels. On the affected vehicles, the wheel lug nuts may loosen. Built 2012-01-31 to 2013-03-18. |
| 13V097000 | 2013-03-15. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:SOFTWARE; POWER TRAIN:AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION:CONTROL MODULE (TCM/PCM/TECM); POWER TRAIN:AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION. General Motors (GM) is recalling certain model year 2013 Buick LaCrosse vehicles, manufactured between April 25, 2012, through March 6, 2013, and model year 2013 Cadillac SRX vehicles, manufactured between May 29, 2012, through February 18, 2013 for failing to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) No. 102, "Transmission Shift Lever Sequence, Starter Interlock, and Transmission Braking Effect." A software problem may cause the transmission to inadvertently shift to Sport mode removing any transmission-related engine braking effect. Built 2012-05-29 to 2013-02-18. |
| 2026246 | 2026-05-21. Airbag. Issue: On certain vehicles, the driver-front airbag inflator could rupture when the airbag deploys in a crash. If this happens, the airbag may not properly inflate and metal fragments could be propelled toward vehicle occupants. Safety Risk: An airbag inflator that ruptures can create a risk of injury or death. Corrective Actions: General Motors will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to replace the driver-front airbag module. |
|---|---|
| 2021394 | 2021-06-24. Suspension. Issue: On certain vehicles, the adjustable rear toe link may not have been properly tightened during a previous service repair. As a result, the toe link could loosen and eventually separate. This could cause a sudden loss of vehicle stability. Note: You may notice the following warning symptoms if a rear toe link is loose: - sway or wander while driving; - loud metallic or other unusual noise from the rear suspension; - the steering wheel may be off-center; - the Stabilitrak malfunction indicator lamp (MIL) may stay on or flash while driving; - Uneven wear between the rear tires. If you detect these symptoms, you should stop driving and have the vehicle towed to the nearest dealership. Safety Risk: A loss of stability could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Action: General Motors will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealer to replace the adjustable rear toe links with a newly designed part. |
| 2014406 | 2014-09-18. Suspension. On certain vehicles, the rear suspension toe link jam nuts may not have been tightened to specification. If the vehicle is operated in this condition, the toe link nuts could loosen and eventually separate, allowing the rear wheel to turn inboard or outboard. If this were to happen, sudden changes in vehicle handling could occur, which could result in a crash causing injury and/or property damage. Correction: Dealers will inspect and ensure the rear suspension toe link nuts are tightened to specification. If required, the rear suspension toe link will be replaced. |
| 2014154 | 2014-04-25. Powertrain. On certain vehicles equipped with a 3.6L V6 engine, the transmission control module calibration may cause a three-to-four second delay in acceleration. This will occur if the following sequence is commanded within two seconds: during an upshift from first to second gear (12 – 16 km/h), the driver then brakes the vehicle to less than 8 km/h, and then accelerates again. A lag in acceleration could increase the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will reprogram the transmission control module. |
| 2013166 | 2013-05-16. Wheels. On certain vehicles, the wheel nuts may have been insufficiently tightened during vehicle assembly. If the wheels have not yet been removed and replaced due to winter tire installation or tire rotation, the wheel nuts may loosen, resulting in possible damage to the wheel studs and/or wheel(s). This could also lead to a complete separation of the wheel(s) from the vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will perform a tire rotation during which the wheel nuts are tightened to specification. |
| 2013083 | 2013-03-15. Powertrain. On certain vehicles, the transmission may shift from Driver Shift Control (manual) to Sport (automatic shifting) unexpectedly. If the driver was slowing the vehicle using DSC (manual) mode to achieve engine braking, engine braking would be cancelled without warning. In conjunction with traffic and road conditions, and the driver’s reactions, this could increase the risk of a crash causing property damage and/or personal injury. Correction: Dealers will reprogram the transmission control module. |
