| 2060205/1 | 2020-08-07. Service bulletin. ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING; ELECTRICAL SYSTEM; EQUIPMENT ADAPTIVE/MOBILITY. Bentayga - Engine Cooling System - DTC P218100. Customer statement / workshop findings: Emission Control Lamp illuminated on Driver Instrument Panel. The time to reach the correct engine coolant operating temperature has increased. Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) P218100 - Cooling System Performance is stored in the Engine Control Module (ECM), the vehicle warm up time is longer when compared to other vehicles of the same type. Technical background: It is possible for the engine coolant Thermostat to corrode over time, this corrosion is due to an adverse reaction of the Thermostat material with the engine coolant. The corrosion and subsequent build-up of debris prevents the correct operation of the thermostat when closing, resulting in over cooling. The ECM triggers a DTC when the target engine temperature is outside of the specified parameter. |
| 2052561/3 | 2020-08-07. Service bulletin. EQUIPMENT; STRUCTURE. Mulliner - Biometric Secure Stowage Box. Customer statement / workshop findings: Correct functionality and restrictions of the Mulliner Biometric Secure Stowage Box need to be understood to prevent unnecessary customer complaints. |

| 2048616/8 | 2020-08-07. Service bulletin. SUSPENSION. Creaking noise from the front suspension when manoeuvring. Customer statement / workshop findings: Creaking noise from the front suspension when manoeuvring Technical background: Verify that the customer complaint matches the sound file within the Bentley Hub Reference TPI Transaction number 2048616 TIP: When listening to the sound file the noise can be heard from between 0 and 3 seconds The noise present in the sound file is caused by defective Lower suspension lever - Rear - Hydraulic mounts. In order to reproduce the noise this bush must be twisted, therefore the noise can appear in the following circumstances When performing parking manoeuvers with the brake applied When steering from lock to lock with the vehicle in motion and the brake applied When the vehicle is moved with steering input over uneven surfaces (for e.g. a ramp or speed bump) If the customer complaint occurs in any of the above circumstances and the noise can be clearly assigned to the noise within the sound file Refer to the instructions within the Measure section of this TPI |
