Service bulletins for the 2011 Audi Q7

A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

011459203616922022-10-31. Service bulletin. FUEL SYSTEM, DIESEL; FUEL SYSTEM, GASOLINE. In tank, fuel pump may be making a straining noise. Diesel fuel requires additive blending or ?winterization? to be useable at low temperatures. At temperatures below 20° F (-7° C), No. 2 Diesel with insufficient winterization blending may lose its fluidity due to wax separation. This may clog the fuel filter or in-tank filter, preventing the engine from operating properly. No. 2 Diesel is blended by refineries to various levels of winterization (minimum useable temperature) based on month, geographical location, and the 10th percentile minimum ambient air temperature for the given region. Although rare, during sudden periods of extreme low temperatures (record lows), fuel stations may not be adequately prepared with No. 2 Diesel fuel with sufficient winterization to resist wax formation or ?gelling?.

011396202336042022-10-31. Service bulletin. FUEL SYSTEM, GASOLINE. Contaminated or incorrect fuel can cause performance, drivability, and/or fuel delivery problems. Additional component replacement may be necessary to ensure that no contamination or debris remains after repair. Reasons for fuel contamination can include: water ingress in the fuel station?s holding tanks, errors made in fuel transport, or incorrect fuel has been dispensed into the vehicle.
011390203376712022-10-31. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. 01 MIL on (DTC P1196/P1197/P0135, heater circuit fault lambda sensor) - Repair Authorization
011383203300112022-10-31. Service bulletin. ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING. Under certain driving conditions, the secondary air ports in the cylinder head can accumulate carbon over time, causing a restriction.
011380202434422022-10-31. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM; SERVICE BRAKES, HYDRAULIC. After recognizing that the boost pressure is too low or too high, the engine control module switches to emergency operation and the engine performance is reduced via the injected fuel quantity (?limp mode?).
011366203145832022-10-31. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM; ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING:EXHAUST SYSTEM:EMISSION CONTROL:CRANKCASE (PCV). Under extreme driving conditions, such as a driving profile of mainly short distance (stop and go) driving high crankcase pressure can lead to the above described DTC codes.
011349203545422022-10-31. Service bulletin. ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING. Under certain driving conditions, the secondary air ports in the cylinder head can accumulate carbon over time, causing a restriction. The ODIS tester can identify the state of the restriction, and will request that the system is cleaned in order to prevent the MIL from illuminating.
011348203300152022-10-31. Service bulletin. ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING. Under certain driving conditions, the secondary air ports in the cylinder head can accumulate carbon over time, causing a restriction.
011345203145842022-10-31. Service bulletin. ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING:EXHAUST SYSTEM:EMISSION CONTROL:CRANKCASE (PCV). Under extreme driving conditions (such short-distance, stop-and-go driving), high crankcase pressure can cause the DTCs to appear.
011337203300142022-10-31. Service bulletin. ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING. Under certain driving conditions, the secondary air ports in the cylinder head can accumulate carbon over time, causing a restriction.
011335203545412022-10-31. Service bulletin. ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING. During reset of the service reminder, the following message appears on the ODIS tester: ?Secondary air injection system - checking secondary air mass?. Under certain driving conditions, the secondary air ports in the cylinder head can accumulate carbon over time, causing a restriction. The ODIS tester can identify the state of the restriction, and will request that the system is cleaned in order to prevent the MIL from illuminating.
011309201475382022-10-31. Service bulletin. FUEL SYSTEM, GASOLINE. The use of contaminated gasoline or gasoline with a low content of deposit control additives may result in one or more conditions.
011301203300122022-10-31. Service bulletin. ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING. Under certain driving conditions, the secondary air ports in the cylinder head can accumulate carbon over time, causing a restriction.
011300203029232022-10-31. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM; POWER TRAIN. Moisture ingress due to inadequate internal sealing of some differential pressure sensors (G505) causes electronic failure of the sensors. Part analysis shows that this condition only affects parts that were produced on or before March 29, 2011.
011258203145812022-10-31. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. Under extreme driving conditions, such as a driving profile of mainly short distance (stop and go) driving high crankcase pressure can lead to the above described DTC codes. By changing the crankcase pressure valve to a lower operating pressure this condition can be improved and eliminate the mentioned possible DTC codes. Along with the crankcase pressure being lowered, a new ECM software level is required to compensate for new crankcase pressure.
001470203920612022-10-31. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM; EQUIPMENT. High quality media files (video and sound) are now integrated into technical service bulletins on a case-by-case basis. Media files can now be viewed on any smartphone or tablet.
001349203357612022-10-31. Service bulletin. ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING:ENGINE:OIL/LUBRICATION. Although the correct amount of oil was added to the engine during an oil change service, a check of the oil level shows that the oil level is not okay.
DC_TDI_repairs2022-10-05. Service bulletin. EQUIPMENT:OTHER:OWNERS/SERVICE/OTHER MANUAL. Dealer Communication: IMPORTANT: Evaluate TDI Vehicles for Repurchase Prior to Repairs
011495203843412022-09-26. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:SOFTWARE. Software update needed.
011469203666812022-09-26. Service bulletin. FUEL SYSTEM, DIESEL. When diagnosing the condition listed above on a common rail diesel vehicle, if no root cause is found after all GFF diagnostic procedures have been performed, it may be necessary to check for metallic particles in the high pressure fuel pump using the procedure in the Service section of this bulletin.
