Service bulletins for the 2011 Audi Q7

A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

1054 on file from NHTSA, as of 2026-10-19.

011390203376712022-09-26. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. 01 MIL on (DTC P1196/P1197/P0135, heater circuit fault lambda sensor) - Repair Authorization
011383203300112022-09-26. Service bulletin. ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING. Under certain driving conditions, the secondary air ports in the cylinder head can accumulate carbon over time, causing a restriction.
011380202434422022-09-26. Service bulletin. ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING:ENGINE:ENGINE CONTROL MODULE (ECU/ECM):SOFTWARE; ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING:ENGINE:ENGINE CONTROL MODULE (ECU/ECM). After recognizing that the boost pressure is too low or too high, the engine control module switches to emergency operation and the engine performance is reduced via the injected fuel quantity (?limp mode?).
011366203145832022-09-26. Service bulletin. ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING:EXHAUST SYSTEM:EMISSION CONTROL:CRANKCASE (PCV); ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. Under extreme driving conditions, such as a driving profile of mainly short distance (stop and go) driving high crankcase pressure can lead to the above described DTC codes.
011349203545422022-09-26. Service bulletin. ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING. Under certain driving conditions, the secondary air ports in the cylinder head can accumulate carbon over time, causing a restriction. The ODIS tester can identify the state of the restriction, and will request that the system is cleaned in order to prevent the MIL from illuminating.
011348203300152022-09-26. Service bulletin. ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING. Under certain driving conditions, the secondary air ports in the cylinder head can accumulate carbon over time, causing a restriction.
011345203145842022-09-26. Service bulletin. ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING:EXHAUST SYSTEM:EMISSION CONTROL:CRANKCASE (PCV). Under extreme driving conditions (such short-distance, stop-and-go driving), high crankcase pressure can cause the DTCs to appear.
011337203300142022-09-26. Service bulletin. ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING. Under certain driving conditions, the secondary air ports in the cylinder head can accumulate carbon over time, causing a restriction.
011335203545412022-09-26. Service bulletin. ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING. During reset of the service reminder, the following message appears on the ODIS tester: ?Secondary air injection system - checking secondary air mass?. Under certain driving conditions, the secondary air ports in the cylinder head can accumulate carbon over time, causing a restriction. The ODIS tester can identify the state of the restriction, and will request that the system is cleaned in order to prevent the MIL from illuminating.
011309201475382022-09-26. Service bulletin. FUEL SYSTEM, GASOLINE. The use of contaminated gasoline or gasoline with a low content of deposit control additives may result in one or more conditions.
011301203300122022-09-26. Service bulletin. ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING. Under certain driving conditions, the secondary air ports in the cylinder head can accumulate carbon over time, causing a restriction.
011300203029232022-09-26. Service bulletin. POWER TRAIN. Moisture ingress due to inadequate internal sealing of some differential pressure sensors (G505) causes electronic failure of the sensors. Part analysis shows that this condition only affects parts that were produced on or before March 29, 2011.
011258203145812022-09-26. Service bulletin. ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING:EXHAUST SYSTEM:EMISSION CONTROL:CRANKCASE (PCV). Under extreme driving conditions, such as a driving profile of mainly short distance (stop and go) driving high crankcase pressure can lead to the above described DTC codes. By changing the crankcase pressure valve to a lower operating pressure this condition can be improved and eliminate the mentioned possible DTC codes. Along with the crankcase pressure being lowered, a new ECM software level is required to compensate for new crankcase pressure.
001470203920612022-09-26. Service bulletin. EQUIPMENT:ELECTRICAL. High quality media files (video and sound) are now integrated into technical service bulletins on a case-by-case basis. Media files can now be viewed on any smartphone or tablet.
001466203794912022-09-26. Service bulletin. EQUIPMENT:ELECTRICAL. A DTC with the description ?Invalid Data Record? is stored after an ECU has been replaced or updated.
0014652011732102022-09-26. Service bulletin. EQUIPMENT:ELECTRICAL. This Technical Service Bulletin (TSB) details the general process for carrying out a Software Version Management (SVM) software update for any TSB or Update.
001463203357622022-09-26. Service bulletin. ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING. Although the correct amount of oil was added to the engine during an oil change service, a check of the oil level shows that the oil level is not okay. When an unapproved aftermarket speed-filling device is used to add oil to the engine, the increased oil flow rate may force oil into the intake manifold or combustion chamber, creating the potential for engine damage.
001459202973722022-09-26. Service bulletin. ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING. When oil is drained through the drain plug, the oil might spill on components around the oil pan area. If it is not properly cleaned up, this spilled oil could drip after the procedure is complete, causing unnecessary customer complaints.
001349203357612022-09-26. Service bulletin. ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING. Although the correct amount of oil was added to the engine during an oil change service, a check of the oil level shows that the oil level is not okay.
A4622342034181222022-09-01. Service bulletin. SERVICE BRAKES. This technical service bulletin provides troubleshooting for brake noise.
A6422852020552112022-08-04. Service bulletin. VISIBILITY; EQUIPMENT. This bulletin provides instructions on how to properly clean exterior glass.
A4822342065978_22022-08-03. Service bulletin. EQUIPMENT; EQUIPMENT ADAPTIVE/MOBILITY; STEERING:STEERING WHEEL /HANDLE BAR:HAND HEATER/COOLER. This bulletin explains that the steering wheel may warm up while being held leading to the impression that he steering wheel isn't heating evenly.
1337203019792022-08-01. Service bulletin. ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING. Customer complains of excessive oil consumption.
1442203559122022-08-01. Service bulletin. FUEL SYSTEM, GASOLINE. Normal fuel system pulsation can cause slight vibrations in the pressure regulator on the flange located on the right side of the fuel tank. This pulsation also causes the long, curved fuel lines (Figure 1) to vibrate and make a jarring noise in the tank.
1440203383622022-08-01. Service bulletin. FUEL SYSTEM, DIESEL. Beginning with MY2009, the filler necks of various TDI clean diesel vehicles were equipped with a misfueling guard (Figure 1). The guard minimizes the likelihood that fuel other than ultra-low sulfur diesel will be put into the vehicle. The misfueling guard is designed to remain in a locked position when a nozzle with a diameter typically suited for non-diesel fuels (approximately 13/16?, or 20.6mm) is inserted, to prevent further insertion of the nozzle into the filler neck. A nozzle with a larger diameter typically suited for diesel fuel (approximately 15/16?, or 23.8mm) will unlock the misfueling guard when inserted, allowing the nozzle to be further inserted into the filler neck.

The summaries are NHTSA's. Each bulletin's page links NHTSA's copy of the manufacturer's document.
