Service bulletin No. D500

A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

122-K8T6V-102018-10-15. Service bulletin. Subject: Instrument cluster Information: Due to a faulty Timer function for the internal clock in the instrument cluster, there is a possibility that the control unit system will be activated cyclically by the instrument cluster after stopping the vehicle. As a result, the control unit system will not be switched to energy-saving mode, resulting in increased closed-circuit current consumption. This can deplete the vehicle battery if the vehicle is idle for a long time.
122-D2C2G-112017-12-14. Service bulletin. Technical Concern: This failure is the result of faulty message monitoring within the instrument cluster. Because the instrument cluster cannot properly detect and display the current cruise control status, the cruise control does not engage. Service Information: The recommended repair is to replace the instrument cluster. Only part numbers with suffix "G" or later should be used.
122-E5M8Q-112017-12-14. Service bulletin. Technical Concern: This failure is often accompanied by a long list of instrument cluster faults, including "C11011 - Control unit faulty, watchdog". All reported cases have been at PDI or with very low mileage. Service Information: The recommended repair is to replace the instrument cluster. Only part numbers with suffix "G" or later should be used.
122-G2L2B-092017-09-14. Service bulletin. Information: There is a possibility that when you switch on the ignition, the displays in the instrument cluster will not be activated on the affected vehicles. As a result, no information will be displayed in the instrument cluster. Remedial Action: Re-program the instrument cluster using the PIWIS Tester with software version 35.000.010 (or higher) installed.
