Service bulletin PIC5716A
A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

Vehicles that have a Regular Production Option Code U2E instrument panel cluster do not have an ambient temperature sensor and the data in the scan tool is a default reading. If the vehicle is built with Regular Production Option Code UH8 use the General Motors Online Order Reference Guide to determine if the vehicle has UH8 Instrument Panel Cluster and Driver Information Center has an ambient temperature sensor reading.
