Bulletins for the same vehicles and component
| SA-051-25 | 2025-12-05. Service bulletin. Noise, Vibration, and Harshness (NVH) Diagnostic Guidelines Diagnostic Guidelines When diagnosing NVH concerns, it is essential to first classify the issue into one of three primary categories: Noise, Vibration, or Harshness. Many customer complaints may involve overlapping symptoms, such as both noise and vibration, so identifying the dominant characteristic is critical. Once the primary symptom is determined, follow the appropriate diagnostic path. For example, if a concern includes both noise and vibration but is related to vehicle speed, the vibration diagnostic path should be followed. When considering component replacement during the diagnostic process, it is best practice to start with the lowest cost or most accessible part unless diagnostic evidence clearly identifies a more expensive or complex component as the root cause. This approach helps minimize repair costs and avoids unnecessary part replacements. For example, a growling or bearing whine noise may be mistakenly attributed to internal components in the differential, transfer unit, or transmission, when the actual source is a wheel bearing. Misdiagnosis like this can lead to unnecessary repairs, added time and cost. To help prevent this, always follow the guidelines in the repair procedure. |

| SA-005-25 | 2025-02-05. Service bulletin. Before judging a steering wheel as having premature wear or a defect, first clean the steering wheel as explained in the repair information. Some vehicles may have steering wheel stains caused by chemicals such as hand lotions. |
| SA-060-24 | 2024-09-04. Service bulletin. Before judging a steering wheel as having premature wear or a defect, first clean the steering wheel as explained in the repair information. Some vehicles may have steering wheel stains caused by chemicals such as hand lotions. |
| 15-003-24 | 2024-07-04. Service bulletin. Some customers may experience that, after overtaking a truck and moving in front of the truck with turn signal on, the steering assist pushes the vehicle back to the overtaking lane even without BSM warning light turning on in the outer mirror. This may be caused by an improper detection by the side radar sensors occurring in a specific driving environment. To eliminate this concern, the control software of the side radar sensors has been modified. |
| SA-011-24 | 2024-03-06. Service bulletin. Mazda has developed factory recommended scheduled maintenance services that support all major vehicle systems. Mazda recommends dealers follow the scheduled maintenance tables as cited in the vehicle-specific workshop manual or owner's manual. Services performed outside of Mazda's factory scheduled maintenance are not recommended. These services are unnecessary and create unneeded expenses for your customers. |
| PF-24-02 | 2024-02-02. Service bulletin. When placing an order for KJK8-32-110A as a service part replacement such as a collision repair, standard “over-the-counter” order, etc. The supplemental part K1Y0-32-FX8A (spring kit) must be replaced when installing the steering gear KJK8-32-110A. |
| 15-001-24 | 2024-02-01. Service bulletin. Some vehicles may exhibit one or both of following, making the customer uncomfortable with the operation; 1. Sometimes the steering assist feeling by the Emergency Lane Keeping may be stronger than expected while driving at 37 mph 60 km/h) (or faster. 2.The Smart Brake Support may operate unexpectedly when parking in reverse under certain conditions, mainly while driving at 1.2 mph ( 2 km/h) to 9.3 mph (15 km/h) on flat ground in reverse and vehicle(s) etc. are present around the parking space. 3. While driving on a curved road condition with the MRCC activated, a vehicle in the right or left lane may be detected as an ahead vehicle and the MRCC unexpectedly reduces vehicle speed. This is caused by: 1. There was some room to refine the engineering for a better steering feel. 2.Too sensitive detection of vehicles or objects while in reverse and backing up. To eliminate this concern, the control software of the Vehicle Control Module (VCM) has been modified. |
| SA-082-23 | 2024-01-06. Service bulletin. Before judging a steering wheel as having premature wear or a defect, first clean the steering wheel as explained in the repair information. Some vehicles may have steering wheel stains caused by chemicals such as hand lotions. |
| 02-005-23 | 2023-12-05. Service bulletin. Some vehicles may exhibit a rubbing noise from the front tire when driving with the steering turned all the way. This may be caused by the ABS harness interfering with the front tire when the steering wheel is fully turned. To eliminate this concern, the length of the ABS harness and the shape of the harness bracket have been modified. |
| 06-003-23 | 2023-08-03. Service bulletin. Some vehicles may exhibit an abnormal noise (creaking noise) when operating the electric steering tilt/telescopic function. This is caused by adhesion and slippage occur repeatedly between the steering column and the set screw due to over tightening of a set screw in the steering tilt/telescopic mechanism. To eliminate this concern, the tightening amount (torque) of the set screw has been changed. |
