(Polaris) is recalling certain 2010-2017 Victory Cross Country, Cross Country Tour, Cross Roads, Magnum, and Hard Ball motorcycles. | 11V305000 | 2011-06-01. STEERING: STEERING WHEEL/HANDLE BAR. POLARIS IS RECALLING CERTAIN MODEL YEAR 2011 VICTORY CROSS COUNTRY MOTORCYCLES MANUFACTURED FROM JANUARY 1, THROUGH APRIL 11, 2011. THE HANDLEBAR CLAMPS AND/OR RISERS MAY HAVE BEEN MACHINED INCORRECTLY WHICH COULD CAUSE THE HANDLEBARS TO SLIP IN THE CLAMPS. Built 2011-01-01 to 2011-04-11. |
| 2017506 | 2017-10-18. Brakes. On certain motorcycles, continuous operation with the engine in a misfire condition could lead to elevated exhaust temperatures. This could damage the rear brake line, which would increase stopping distances, and damage electrical wiring. These issues could increase the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will re-route the brake line and wiring away from the exhaust catalyst. |
|---|---|
| 2011221 | 2011-06-07. Steering. On certain motorcycles, the handlebar clamps and risers may have been manufactured incorrectly, allowing the handlebar to move from its set position. This could result in a loss of vehicle control and a crash causing property damage and/or personal injury. Correction: Dealers will inspect and, if necessary, replace the handlebar clamps and risers. |
A campaign lists a year, a make and a model, and often only some of the vehicles built. A list with nothing on it is not a clearance either. The lookups below check one VIN.
