It also involves installing a winter front cover.
08016152023-01-09. Service bulletin. BACK OVER PREVENTION. Poor Radio Reception This bulletin involves replacing the satellite antenna if needed. A customer may experience, SXM (Sirius/XM) radio has intermittent muting. This occurs in areas where XM signal is degraded and cell signal is very weak. The condition happens when the optional vehicle internet connection through the cell network is in use with the internal vehicle Wi-Fi. This Symptom/Condition Only Applies To 2014-2015 KL Vehicles: A customer may experience a popping noise when listening to AM stations.

S17090000102023-01-09. Service bulletin. POWER TRAIN:AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION:CONTROL MODULE (TCM/PCM/TECM). Customer complaints may include abnormal engine noise, rough idle, lack of power, misfire. Upon investigation, it may be found that there is excessive camshaft lobe wear/lifter wear (roller failure) on one or more cam lobes and that camshaft/lifter replacement is necessary.

Customer Satisfaction Notification R51 Winter Front Cover The Charge Air Cooler (CAC) on about 8,000 of the above vehicles may develop internal icing in cold temperature regions. This condition may cause the Malfunction Indicator Light (MIL) to illuminate and cause the vehicle to experience a 35 mph limp in condition. A winter front cover must be installed when sustained day and night time temperatures drop below 30° F (-1° C).

Trans Oil Pan, Heater Tube or O-ring, Heater Applies to vehicles equipped with 8 speed transmissions only; If you have a leak that appears to be at the pan the use of proper leak detection is recommended. The fluid in the 8 speeds can be detected with a black light and there are aftermarket spray on leak detection materials to help ensure that the leak is properly diagnosed and not from another location such as cooler lines, heater tubes, or case porosity. If you have a leak concern please note that the transmission pan gasket is available for many of the 8 speed applications FCA offers. See your parts specialist for the proper gasket for the repair.

A customer may experience one or more of the following conditions. Navigation Failed? message is displayed. Navigation is inoperative or inaccurate. CD player will not play songs and/or locks up the radio. Clock will not automatically update to local time. Clock may be off by several hours. (RA3 Only). HVAC temperature out of sync with radio display (KL vehicles). Some Uconnect App remote commands do not execute with the vehicle. Radio Apps are inoperative. Adds Apple Siri® Eyes Free capability for iPhone® owners. Auto Play can now be configured. Radio will lock up. Radio display screen is black or blank. Battery drain - due to radio remains on. HVAC temperature out of sync with radio display (KL vehicles). Track names may be displayed twice in USB or SD media modes. SD, USB or BTSA modes may become non-functional for a given ignition cycle. Duplicate song titles may be displayed in USB mode. Last track is displayed but next track is being played. Navigation function may reset itself after using One-Shot VR. Intermittently the Global Positioning System (GPS) may lose its location for a short time and causes routing and positioning concerns. GPS and Internal cellular device may become inoperative and causes a loss of GPS and cellular functions. A false Pop-up message may appear. Vehicle Phone Requires Service? even though the vehicle?s phone works properly. Back-up camera image may be unclear or jittery/stutters at times. Mute button status was not being displayed correctly. Presets where not shown correctly or were deleted. Park Sense tone continuously on. Radio display may show. Please insert USB Stick? Navigation may not start or may lose position. Rear camera may show a black screen for 3 seconds upon going to reverse. iPod would not resume playing after a VR session or phone call. Radio reset, screen lockup, blank screen or sluggish system.

Emissions Recall R69 Selective Catalytic Reduction CatalystEffective immediately all repairs on involved vehicles are to be performed according to this recall. Service Bulletin 18-064-15 is no longer applicable for vehicles involved in this recall. Those vehicles that have already had this repair performed, as determined by our warranty records, have been excluded from this recall. The Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) catalyst on about 11,400 of the above vehicles is experiencing washcoat degradation, which may lead to the exceedance of exhaust emission standards.

USB Charging Port Before replacing this part - this is a charge only USB port intended to charge smart phones and other low power USB devices. To verify proper functionality, turn on the ignition with no cables or devices plugged into the port. Connect a charging cable to the port, then connect the device. If the device receives power, the port is functioning to design. There are some minor compatibility issues with some charging cables including Apple Lightning cables.
