Information: A Cayenne with optional equipment no. 1D6 will come with a Trailer hitch receiver and wiring up to the receiver hitch that includes a control unit to operate the trailer parking lights, turn signals and brake lights. The Cayenne is also pre-wired for a brake controller. You will need to do the following to hook up the trailer electrics and/or an electric brake controller:

Concerns: Tank leakage diagnosis module Information: This is to inform you of a voluntary Workshop Campaign on the above-mentioned vehicles. There is a possibility that particles of dirt can get into the tank leakage diagnosis module and be deposited on the diaphragm seal under certain environmental conditions. This can result in incorrect tank leakage diagnosis in some cases. The Check Engine light will be activated.

Due to an unfavorably positioned check valve in the supply line for the spray nozzle for the rear window, there is a possibility that a residual quantity of washer fluid will remain between the check valve and spray nozzle in the supply line following actuation on the affected vehicles.

Concerns: All-wheel drive control unit Information: This is to inform you of a voluntary Workshop Campaign on the above-mentioned vehicles. Due to an error in the current software for the all-wheel drive control unit, there is a possibility that the all-wheel drive control unit will not be initialized at times after switching on the ignition and as a result, the vehicle's CAN system cannot establish communication with the all-wheel drive control unit.

Due to a badly positioned check valve in the supply line for the spray nozzle for the rear window, there is a possibility that a residual quantity of washer fluid will remain between the check valve and spray nozzle in the supply line following actuation on the affected vehicles. This residual quantity will leak out of the spray nozzle shortly after the wash operation has ended and will drip on to the rear window.

Concerns: Oil guide housing Information: Oil leak ("sweating", drops of oil) on engine in oil guide housing area We have discovered that the cause of some leaks in the specified area could not be detected and determined definitively in the dealer organisation when attempting to resolve the complaint "Oil leak"1 . As a result, some of the measures that were carried out were not always effective.
