Service bulletins for the 2015 Porsche Cayenne
A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

| 122-U5S5J-09 | 2017-09-14. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:12V/24V/48V BATTERY. Information: During the packaging of a High Voltage Lithium Ion battery, copies of The test log for classification of lithium-ion high voltage batteries (located in PIWIS - Standard Forms) must be attached inside the box and to the document bag on the exterior of the box as per the Workshop Manual 2X00IN Packing non-critical high-voltage battery (970, 971, 92A) or Workshop Manual 2708IN Packaging instructions for high-voltage battery (918) |
| 122-J5J2D-06 | 2017-09-14. Service bulletin. ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING:COOLING SYSTEM. Concerns: DME control unit Information: This is to inform you of a voluntary Workshop Campaign on the above-mentioned vehicles. With the previous software for controlling the cooling-air flaps for demand-controlled regulation of engine cooling, there is a possibility that the cooling-air flaps will remain closed at speeds of over 124 mph (200 km/h) on the affected vehicles. If this high speed is maintained, the cooling-air flaps can no longer be opened when additional cooling air is required due to the air force acting on the vanes. In this case, cooling performance can be reduced and as a result, the warning messages "Engine too hot, Park vehicle to cool down" and "Oil temperature too high" can be displayed in the instrument cluster. |
| 122-V6K2R-06 | 2017-09-14. Service bulletin. ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING:COOLING SYSTEM; ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:SOFTWARE. Concerns: DME control unit Information: This is to inform you of a voluntary Workshop Campaign on the above-mentioned vehicles. | 122-G7N4L-05 | 2017-09-14. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. Concerns: Power supply relays Information: There is a possibility that relays froma batch whose switching contact was not manufactured according to specifications were installed on the affected vehicles. As a result, the switching contact in the relay can stick in normal position and the relevant electrical equipment will not therefore be supplied with current. Depending on where the relay is used in the vehicle, this can cause various systems, e.g. rear window heating or the levelling system, to stop working. |
| 122-C6H9C-05 | 2017-09-14. Service bulletin. EXTERIOR LIGHTING:TAIL LIGHTS; EQUIPMENT:ELECTRICAL. Information: This is to inform you of a voluntary Workshop Campaign on the above-mentioned vehicles. There is a possibility that the lens on the tail lights was not welded sufficiently on the affected vehicles. As a result, moisture can seep in, causing the lens on the tail light to fog up from the inside. The functions of the tail light are not impaired due to the arrangement of the circuit board and lens in the tail light. |
| 122-G8Y6U-05 | 2017-09-14. Service bulletin. ENGINE; ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING:EXHAUST SYSTEM. Concerns: DME control unit Information: This is to inform you of a voluntary Workshop Campaign on the above-mentioned vehicles. On the affected vehicles with Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR), there is a possibility that the fault memory entry P20FE00 "Reducing agentmetering unit malfunction" will be entered in the DME control unit faultmemory and the Check Engine light will be activated because the diagnostic setup of the SCR system is too sensitive in the low-temperature range, although the AdBlue®metering quantity is still set correctly in this temperature range. |
| 122-E7Q7N-05 | 2017-09-14. Service bulletin. ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING. Concerns: Oil guide housing Information: Oil leak ("sweating", drops of oil) on engine in oil guide housing area We have discovered that the cause of some leaks in the specified area could not be detected and determined definitively in the dealer organisation when attempting to resolve the complaint "Oil leak"1 . As a result, some of the measures that were carried out were not always effective. |
| 122-Z8Q2T-05 | 2017-09-14. Service bulletin. SUSPENSION:MULTIPLE AXLE. Concerns: Suspension alignment Information: Due to amanufacturing problem, there is a possibility that the wheel alignment on the front and rear axle was not carried out correctly and the threaded connections on all toe, camber and caster threaded joints were not tightened to the specified tightening torque on the affected vehicles. |
| 122-Q5C4S-06 | 2017-07-28. Service bulletin. ENGINE; ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:WIRING. Issue: Oil in the wiring harness. Information: If oil is found in the engine wiring harness during a repair, the wiring harness and all the affected components (including the oil pump control valve) must be replaced. |
| 122-R4W5T-09 | 2016-10-03. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:SOFTWARE. Due to a software error in the DME control unit, a rough-running engine can occur sporadically during the warm-up phase on the affected vehicles. If this happens, the Check Engine light will be activated. |
| 122-J8L6N-09 | 2016-10-03. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:SOFTWARE. ENABLING ONLINE SERVICES |
| 25/16 | 2016-07-07. Service bulletin. EQUIPMENT ADAPTIVE/MOBILITY; EQUIPMENT; SERVICE BRAKES, HYDRAULIC:PEDALS AND LINKAGES. AG02 Stop Sale Campaign/Recall Campaign - Checking Circlip on Bearing Bracket for Pedals Internal tests have shown that a circlip on the bearing bracket for the pedals may have become detached from its locking position as a result of preassembly processes carried out by a supplier. In this case, the bearing pin for the pedals will no longer be secured axially in the bearing bracket and can come out of one of the two bearings over the service life. If the bearing pin is mounted on one side only, brake pedal actuation will be impaired. |
| 02/16 4440 | 2016-07-07. Service bulletin. TIRES; WHEELS:SPACE SAVER WHEEL; WHEELS.
