20182252018-05-02. Suspension. On certain vehicles, the control arms may develop material weakness over time. This could affect a vehicle’s handling under extreme driving conditions, increasing the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. A crack in the lower control arms could impair vehicle handling during spirited driving which could increase the risk of crash causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will replace the lower control arms with new updated parts. Note: Porsche recommends to customers that the vehicles not be driven on race tracks until the recall remedy has been completed.
