| 18V621000 | 2018-09-14. FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE: ADAPTIVE CRUISE CONTROL; ELECTRONIC STABILITY CONTROL (ESC); ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:SOFTWARE; SERVICE BRAKES, HYDRAULIC:ANTILOCK/TRACTION CONTROL/ELECTRONIC LIMITED SLIP. The software for the Hydraulic Unit Electronic Control Unit (ECU) may be incorrect, possibly preventing the intervention of a safety system such as automatic emergency braking, Anti-lock Braking (ABS), Electronic Stability Control (ESC), or the Brake Auto Hold (BAH) function when any of these systems are in use. Built 2016-08-01 to 2018-04-06. |

| 2025405 | 2025-08-06. Structure. Issue: On certain vehicles, water could enter the tailgate struts and cause them to corrode. If this happens, the struts could fail, and the tailgate could drop suddenly. Safety Risk: A tailgate that drops suddenly could increase the risk of injury. Corrective Actions: Mitsubishi will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to replace the tailgate struts. |
|---|---|
| 2024554 | 2024-09-19. Label. Issue: On certain vehicles, the compliance label may be missing information in French. The words and abbreviations listed on the label for "TIRES", "RIMS", "WITH", "FR" and "RR" and appear in English only, when they should be listed as "TIRES/PNEUS", "RIMS/JANTES", "WITH/AVEC", "FR/AVT" and "RR/ARR". Canadian regulations require this information to be listed on the label in both English and French. Safety Risk: These small errors do not affect vehicle safety. Corrective Actions: This is not a recall. Mitsubishi has corrected the compliance label for all new vehicles. |
| 2020317 | 2020-07-14. Seats And Restraints. Issue: On certain vehicles, the seat belt buckle for the right seat in the second-row could be damaged when the seats are folded down. This can cause the seat belt buckle cover to come off. If this happens, the seat belt may not latch properly. Safety Risk: A seat belt that does not latch properly could create an increased risk of injury in a crash. Corrective Actions: Mitsubishi will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealer to modify the center seat belt buckle in the second seating row. A warning label will also be attached to the right seat base and additional instructions will be added to the owner's manual. |
| 2018508 | 2018-09-14. Other. On certain vehicles, an issue in the software that manages the brake system Hydraulic Unit may allow it to reset without warning and could cause some vehicle features to malfunction. If this were to occur while driving, the following features may be affected: automatic braking (if Automatic Cruise Control (ACC) and/or Forward Collision Mitigation (FCM) is in operation), Antilock Brake System (ABS), Active Stability Control (ASC), Brake Auto Hold (BAH). If these systems malfunction, there could be an increased risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will update the Hydraulic Unit control software. |
| 2018507 | 2018-09-14. Other. On certain vehicles, an issue in the software used by the Electronic Control Unit responsible for managing the Forward Collision Mitigation (FCM) feature may cause it to not operate as intended alerting the driver to brake unnecessarily in certain situations. If the driver attempts to brake while FCM is also activating, the vehicle may decelerate rapidly. This could create a situation where another motorist does not anticipate a preceding vehicle’s sudden brake application or stop, creating the risk of a rear-end collision causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will update the software for the Forward Collision Mitigation system. |
| 2017475 | 2017-09-29. Engine. On certain vehicles, defective electrical relays may have been installed in the power distribution center. This could cause various electrical circuits to fail, potentially resulting in engine stalling, reduced engine power, or loss of engine cooling fan function potentially resulting in engine overheating. These issues could increase the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will replace affected relay(s) with updated parts. |
A campaign lists a year, a make and a model, and often only some of the vehicles built. A list with nothing on it is not a clearance either. The lookups below check one VIN.
