Error in N112/9 - control unit for telematics services (HERMES). In the HERMES control unit log, under the "URL" tab, the value DEFAULT is stored for "atpServerUrl" and/or "rcsServerUrl". Please carry out a re-commissioning of the control unit N112/9 - Control unit for telematics services (HERMES), which includes both a software update as well as coding. The fault will be rectified by the newly included coding. As a result of the software update to the current software of the control unit N112/9 - Control unit for telematics services (HERMES), this fault will no longer occur in future.

Complaint The Apple Carplay interface cannot be controlled via the center console touchpad or the right-hand steering wheel touchpad. Cause A setting on the iPhone may prevent control via the touchpad Remedy To remedy on the affected iPhone, navigate to "Settings" -> "Accessibility" -> "Touch" and turn the "BackTap" option OFF.

Complaint Height adjustment of electric steering column adjustment jammed in the top/bottom adjustment position (e.g. with Easy Entry function). Cause Height adjustment moves to the top/bottom limit stop and jams. 1. Steering column height adjustment transmission 2. Seat control unit software Remedy There are 2 repair procedures to follow depending on vehicle (differentiated according to model and vehicle manufacturing date) 1. Replace repair kit for steering column height adjustment 2. Perform software update of driver's seat control unit
SC-20210700062022-08-04. Service bulletin. EQUIPMENT; EQUIPMENT ADAPTIVE/MOBILITY; ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING. Mercedes-Benz AG (“MBAG”), the manufacturer of Mercedes-Benz vehicles, has determined that on certain Model Year 2021 CLA (118 platform), GLE/GLS (167 platform), C-Class (205 platform), E-Class (213 platform), GLA (247 platform), GLC (253 platform), AMG GT (290 platform) and G-Class (463 platform) model series vehicles, the installed ignition coils may not correspond to current specifications. This may result in misfire, reduced engine output, and illumination of the Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL). What We’re Doing MBUSA will conduct an Emission Service Campaign in which an authorized Mercedes- Benz dealership will replace the ignition coils.

Mercedes-Benz AG (“MBAG”), the manufacturer of Mercedes-Benz, has determined that on certain Model Year (“MY”) 2021 CLA-Class, GLA-Class, GLE-Class, GLS-Class, A-Class, C-Class, E-Class, GLB-Class, CLS-Class, and AMG GT 4-doors/Coupe (118, 167, 177, 190, 213, 238, 247, 257, and 290 platform). The possibility exists that the information regarding radar sensor MMRV1 may be incorrect, and therefore the printed operator’s manual may not align with the internal vehicle specifications. What We’re Doing MBUSA will conduct a service campaign. An authorized Mercedes-Benz dealer will check and replace the printed operator’s manual, if necessary.

Mercedes-Benz AG (“MBAG”), the manufacturer of Mercedes-Benz vehicles, has determined that on certain MY 2021-22 A-Class (177 platform), CLA-Class (118 platform), CLS-Class (257 platform), E-Class (213 and 238 platform), GLA-Class, GLBClass (247 platform), GLC-Class (253 platform), GLE-Class, GLS-Class (167 platform), and GT-Class (290 platform) vehicles, the software for the MBUX control unit does not correspond with the latest series production configuration, and subsequently, navigation may not be available. What We’re Doing MBUSA will conduct a service campaign. An authorized Mercedes-Benz dealer will update the MBUX control unit software.
LI83.57-P-0740922022-02-04. Service bulletin. VISIBILITY:DEFROSTER/DEFOGGER/HVAC SYSTEM; EQUIPMENT; ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. Complaint No longer possible to adjust the temperature at the "Touchscreen Rear" (part of Rear Business Package, code 224) Cause Software error in the head unit. Remedy Warning: Replacing parts does not solve the problem! A software remedy for the head unit is currently in development. As soon as the software remedy is available, this TIPS document will be updated.
LI18.00-P-0731372022-02-04. Service bulletin. ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING; EQUIPMENT. Complaint Sporadic warning message in instrument cluster "Engine oil pressure stop switch off vehicle" (or similar) is shown in red on vehicles with low mileage. Cause Directional control valve may stick. Remedy 1- Read off oil level in instrument cluster and correct if necessary. 2- Perform approx. 10-15 engine starts, then clear fault codes. 3- Perform road test with vehicle. If fault code reoccurs during road test: Install new directional control valve.
