Service bulletins for the 2022 Mazda MX-30
A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

| 07-002-22 | 2022-05-05. Service bulletin. VISIBILITY:DEFROSTER/DEFOGGER/HVAC SYSTEM; ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. Some customers may complain that it takes a long time to switch between heating and cooling. Due to the nature of the EV's air conditioning system of using a heat pump, there is a sudden change in the refrigerant flow path that can cause a sudden pressure difference when switching between heating and cooling that can result in a strange clanking noise. As a countermeasure, an interval is set for the time it takes to switch between heating and cooling. To eliminate this concern, the control software of the heat pump control unit has been modified to shorten the switching time between heating and cooling. |
The summaries are NHTSA's. Each bulletin's page links NHTSA's copy of the manufacturer's document.
