07-007-17-33842017-10-21. Service bulletin. EQUIPMENT:APPLIANCE:AIR CONDITIONER. Some customers may complain about poor heater performance even after the engine reaches normal operating temperature. This may be caused by a clogged heater unit. For Mazda6 and CX-5, the check engine light may illuminate with the DTC P011A:00 stored at the same time. P011A:00 ECT sensor No.1/No.2 performance problem. NOTE: Refer to TSB 01-015/15 if the customer is using a block heater at temperatures below freezing.
01-008-17-33762017-10-21. Service bulletin. EQUIPMENT:OTHER:OWNERS/SERVICE/OTHER MANUAL. This is caused by a drop in engine oil pressure due to a piece of foreign object stuck on the oil pump pressure relief valve or oil control valve (OCV). The temporary entry of the foreign object triggers a check engine light on, but rough idle will not be produced until a later time.
04-002-17-3316a2017-10-21. Service bulletin. SERVICE BRAKES, HYDRAULIC. Some vehicles may exhibit a squeak noise when applying the brakes and/or groove marks (A) on the front disc plates. This is caused by abrasive metal from the front disc plate sticking to the brake pad, which damages the disc plate over time. To correct the problem, a modified brake pad is being used.
09-032-17-33722017-10-21. Service bulletin. VISIBILITY:POWER WINDOW DEVICES AND CONTROLS. Some vehicles may experience one or more of the following conditions with the driver and/or passenger side power window(s): ? The window glass will not raise/lower. The window suddenly stops operating while being raised/lowered. The window glass gets stuck where it stopped operating or falls down in the door. This concern is caused by the window regulator cable end becoming disconnected from the fixing point due to improper caulking. The production facility has been improved to prevent the improper caulking of the window regulator cable.
09-017-17-3347b2017-10-21. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:SOFTWARE. All Mazda Connect vehicles in new car inventory must be updated to this software version listed below in this TSB as part of the New Car Ready Step 3 process. NOTE: For 2016 CX-9 with version earlier than 59.00.441, the tachometer function will removed from the Active Driving Display as part of Mazda?s continuing efforts to improve safety and reduce driver distraction. Please explain this to the customer before updating the software. If the customer agrees, turn off the tachometer display on the AD-Display tab in MAZDA CONNECT Settings before performing the update. NOTE: If the customer has customized MAZDA CONNECT with something like a different background using unauthorized software, make sure they know the following information before updating MAZDA CONNECT to avoid any issues later on.

To correct the concern, the PCM internal failure has been eliminated.
09-028-17-33632017-10-21. Service bulletin. EQUIPMENT ADAPTIVE/MOBILITY. Some customers may experience that one or more of the door glasses will not open due to becoming stuck in the glass run channel. The root cause is still under investigation. To correct the problem, the parts source will be changed.
08-002-17-3312a2017-10-21. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:SOFTWARE. When monitoring the resistance of the air bag modules and pre-tensioner seat belts, the Mazda Modular Diagnostic System (M-MDS) may display a value of only 1/100th of the actual resistance value. This is caused by improper SAS control unit software. To eliminate this from occurring in the future, the SAS control unit software has been modified.
04-003-17-3331a2017-10-21. Service bulletin. SERVICE BRAKES. Some vehicles may experience a squeaking/grinding noise from the rear brake even after the brake pedal is released. Upon inspection, the caliper mounting support is corroded and one of the disc pad is abnormally worn out (A). This is caused by vehicle usage in an area using road salt. The surface of the mounting support may swell from corrosion causing premature disc pad wear and brake noise. To correct the problem, an improved caliper mounting support has been newly established as a service part. The anti-corrosion surface treatment has been changed from Zn to Zn-Ni plating.

Some vehicles may experience a rattle noise from the front door glass when driving with the window open approx. 1/2 to 4 inches (1 - 10 cm). The rattle noise may be caused by insufficient holding force of the glass run channel. To increase the holding force, the shape of glass run channel has been changed and non-woven pads have been attached to the glass run channel.

Some vehicles may exhibit oil residue on the engine front cover from seepage around the joint portion (A) between the cylinder block and head. It becomes very noticable with dust adhesion. In some cases, the area of oil residue extends down to around the joint portion (B) between the engine front cover and the oil pan. This may be caused by oil escaping from a fine clearance created at the sealant applied to joint (A) between the cylinder block (B) and head (C) when the engine was pressurized during leak testing on the engine assembly line.

Any damage caused by missing socket covers, HID module seal (D), or missing bumper brackets (E) is not covered by warranty policy.
09-035-17-30802017-10-04. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM: INSTRUMENT CLUSTER/PANEL; EQUIPMENT:OTHER:OWNERS/SERVICE/OTHER MANUAL. In accordance with Federal regulations, follow the procedure listed below when replacing a speedometer. NOTE: Tampering with a motor vehicle odometer is strictly prohibited by Federal, and State laws. It is the dealer?s responsibility to comply with Federal, State, and local laws concerning odometerand related documentation requirements when providing a repair or replacement. Mazda vehicles are manufactured with tamper-proof speedometers. When a speedometer is replaced, the new speedometer will read zero (0) miles. This procedure is extremely important to accurately represent actual vehicle mileage. Prior to speedometer removal, complete the information required on the ?SpeedometerReplacement Label?.Labels can only be ordered through Mazda eStore. In an effort to achieve a higher level of Customer Experience and retain the value of Mazda?s vehicles, MNAO Warranty Operations is allowing all Mazda dealers to utilize a third party, SPECMO Enterprises, Inc., for Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC) odometer setting service. With the use of SPECMO?s services, a Mazda dealer can get the odometer setting updated to reflect the correct mileage at the time of replacement for both warranty and customer pay repairs, therefore resulting in a higher level of customer satisfaction. Since odometer setting service is not part of the warranty repair, it is not warrantable nor required, but optional. However, Mazda Warranty policy provides after- warranty assistance (AWA) or DSA that can be utilized to cover this service expense.
