Service bulletins for the 2020 Mazda CX-9
A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

| 04-004-21-3821 | 2021-10-02. Service bulletin. PARKING BRAKE:ELECTRICAL; EQUIPMENT ADAPTIVE/MOBILITY; EQUIPMENT. Some vehicles may exhibit: Vehicle body vibration when moving from a stop while using the Electric Parking Brake (EPB) automatic release function. Uneven rear brake pad wear. These concerns may be caused because the automatic EPB caliper release timing is too late for the movement of the vehicle. NOTE: Frequent usage of the EPB automatic release function may promote uneven rear brake pad wear. To eliminate these concerns, the EPB control module logic has been modified. |
