Ask the customer to return to the dealer after 1200 miles to recheck the engine oil level. 4. After 1200 miles, engine at normal operating temperature, check the engine oil level on the dipstick. 5. Is the engine oil level above the low mark on the dipstick? • Yes - No repair is necessary. • No - Proceed to MGSS online or Workshop Manual (section 01-03 NO. 16 HIGH OIL CONSUMPTION/LEAKAGE). |

| 04-007-20-3713a | 2020-12-03. Service bulletin. PARKING BRAKE:ELECTRICAL; SERVICE BRAKES; EQUIPMENT. Some vehicles equipped with electric parking brake (EPB) may exhibit a grinding noise from the rear brakes when braking. This may be caused by the rear brake pads not having the capability to remove the rust from the rear brake discs. The red rust accumulated on the discs is exposed to high temperatures during braking, and consequently the rust turns black. As the black rust is too hard to be removed by the brake pads, the rust progress is accelerated, resulting in the grinding noise. |
