| 01-005-19-3548 | 2019-02-19. Service bulletin. ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING. Some vehicles may exhibit the check engine light on with DTC P0456 stored in the PCM memory. P0456: EVAP system leak detected (very small leak). The concern is most likely the result of the customer not getting the fuel cap completely closed after fueling the vehicle. This causes a small fuel vapor leak and turns DTC P0456 on. |

| 01-004-19-3558 | 2019-02-19. Service bulletin. ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING. On some vehicles, a sulfur smell or 'rotten egg' odor may be noticed coming from the exhaust system. The odor is usually noticed after a cold start, fast idle, extended periods of idling and full throttle acceleration. Sulfur smell is not an indication of an engine concern and will not cause reduced driveability or durability of the engine or any of its emission components. The sulfur smell or 'rotten egg' odor is caused by high amounts of sulfur in the gasoline being used in the vehicle. Sulfur is normally eliminated during the refining process, but the EPA regulation of sulfur in gasoline differs from state to state. Vehicles using fuel containing high amounts of sulfur will most likely emit sulfur smell from the exhaust system. When high sulfur fuel is burned, there is a chemical reaction in the catalytic converter causing the sulfur tooxidize. As the vehicle is driven, the oxidizing reaction odor in the converter will decrease with mileage and age. |
| 01-003-19-3557 | 2019-02-19. Service bulletin. ENGINE. Some vehicles may experience the CHECK ENGINE LIGHT ON with DTC P2610 and P2507 stored inmemory after engine start and room fuse 15A (A) removed. P2610:00: Instrument cluster internal engine off timer performance problem P2507:00: PCM battery voltage low input As a past malfunction, the customer will not notice it (no warning light illuminated), but the DTC may be found during a vehicle service. P2507 in this situation is only applicable on 2016 and later models. This is caused by the engine being started 3 or more times after a short duration of engine off (less than 15 seconds) with the room fused removed. NOTE: The odometer will display "F0-002" during transport mode (room fuse 15A removed). Transport mode is canceled when room fuse 15A is installed or the vehicle odometer is more than 12.4mi (20km). Vehicles in dealer inventory with this concern should be repaired using the following repair procedure. |

| 01-021-18-3514a | 2018-11-13. Service bulletin. ENGINE. Some vehicles may experience a lack of power and the check engine light on with DTC P61B:00 stored in the PCM memory when driving in high temperatures at high elevations. DTC P061B:00 - [PCM] Internal control module torque calculation performance problem. This concern may be caused by improper PCM control logic. The engine torque calculation error may increase in high temperatures at high elevations. To eliminate this concern, the PCM software has been modified. |
| 01-019-18-3525 | 2018-11-13. Service bulletin. ENGINE. Some vehicles may experience a check engine light on with DTC P0172:00 stored in the PCM memory. This normally occurs during the fast idle immediately after starting the engine or after the fast idle lowers to a normal idle. DTC P0172:00 - Fuel trim system too rich. Due to improper PCM control logic, the fuel injection amount may be improperly compensated when the engine start is not smooth and due to low quality fuel. |
| 09-036-18-3526 | 2018-10-09. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:12V/24V/48V BATTERY; ENGINE; STRUCTURE:BODY:DOOR; VISIBILITY:POWER WINDOW DEVICES AND CONTROLS. Some vehicles may experience one or more of the following symptoms in connection with a malfunction related to the C-15 connector. The driver side power window does not operate. The door does not open when using the advanced keyless system. The warning lamp stays ON even after the ignition switch is turned OFF. DTC B10E7:17 (START STOP UNIT, IG1 Relay Circuit Malfunction) and DTCs related to communication errors may be stored in PCM memory. Engine no start due to battery discharge. The symptoms listed above may be caused by corrosion of the C-15 connector terminals due to water intrusion through the front door. In low ambient temperatures, the door harness hardens. If the door is fully opened, it may create a gap between the door and the door harness grommet, which may allow water to enter through the gap. |
| 03-003-18-3519 | 2018-10-09. Service bulletin. EQUIPMENT; POWER TRAIN; ENGINE. Some vehicles may exhibit an oil leak from the companion flange area (A) of the transfer unit. This concern may be caused by companion flange oil seal wear. The oil seal has been improved to increase the wear resistance. |
| 01-018-18-3529 | 2018-10-09. Service bulletin. ENGINE. Some vehicles may exhibit oil residue on the engine front cover from seepage around the joint portion (A) between the cylinder block and head. It becomes very noticable with dust adhesion. In some cases, the area of oil residue extends down to around the joint portion (B) between the engine front cover and the oil pan. This may be caused by oil escaping from a fine clearance created at the sealant applied to joint (A) between the cylinder block (B) and head (C) when the engine was pressurized during leak testing on the engine assembly line. |
| 01-016-18-3522 | 2018-10-09. Service bulletin. ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING:EXHAUST SYSTEM. On some vehicles, a sulfur smell or 'rotten egg' odor may be noticed coming from the exhaust system. | 04-003-18-3455 | 2018-05-14. Service bulletin. ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING. Some customers may report a slight clunk/bang/buzz noise or jolt from the front of the vehicle. This concern will most likely occur during the vehicles first forward movement after starting the engine. This is a normal operating noise of the Anti-Lock Brake System (ABS). Do not attempt any repairs. If you encounter a customer complaint for this concern, explain that the noise comes from the ABS/TCS/DSC "Malfunction Detection Function" initial check and that there is no problem. This initial check is a necessary function to ensure the normal operation of the ABS/TCS/DSC system. It occurs when the vehicles first moves forward under the following conditions. NOTE: Some customers may describe that the noise does not occur all the time. It does occur all the time, but the sound is more likely to be heard on a slow start and not on a quick start (quick acceleration) when engine noise is louder. |
| 01-005-18-3415 | 2018-05-07. Service bulletin. FUEL SYSTEM, GASOLINE; ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING:EXHAUST SYSTEM. Some vehicles may experience a rough idle with the check engine light on and DTC P0015 / P0524 stored in memory. P0015:00 - Exhaust CMP timing over-retarded P0524:00 - Engine oil pressure too low This is caused by a drop in engine oil pressure due to a piece of foreign object stuck on the oil pump pressure relief valve or oil control valve (OCV). The temporary entry of the foreign object triggers a check engine light on, but rough idle will not be produced until a later time. |
| 01-006-18-3429 | 2018-04-23. Service bulletin. ENGINE; ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING:EXHAUST SYSTEM. When the engine is started for the first time after parking the vehicle overnight in cold conditions (below 32 degrees Fahrenheit / 0 degrees Celsius), some vehicles may exhibit a rough idle and/or the check engine light on with any of the following DTC(s) stored in memory. P0300 - Random misfire detected P0301 - Cylinder No.1 misfire detected P0302 - Cylinder No.2 misfire detected P0303 - Cylinder No.3 misfire detected P0304 - Cylinder No.4 misfire detected. This may be caused by frozen water accumulated in the main silencer, restricting exhaust flow. |
