Service bulletins for the 2016 Mack LR
A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

| FSB 468 001 | 2021-08-09. Service bulletin. WHEELS; ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING; ELECTRICAL SYSTEM; AIR BAGS; EQUIPMENT. On MACK vehicles built between July 6, 2015 and January 15, 2016 equipped with a MACK CRD 150 carrier, the mounting bolt hole on the driver side of the power divider housing which lines up with the fill plug is drilled through to the fill plug hole. This can create a path for a leak around the threads of the mounting bolt. The remaining five mounting bolt holes are blind. When a leak is found in this area, verify that all six mount bolts around the flange are tight. If any of the mounting bolts are found to be loose, the power divider lockout (PDLO) assembly must be removed and the gasket replaced. If all the bolts are tight, the bolt at the 3:00 position should be removed and cleaned along with the mounting hole with a residue free cleaning spray like contact cleaner. |
