Service bulletins for the 2020 Lincoln Navigator
A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

| SSM 50347 | 2021-12-26. Service bulletin. EXTERIOR LIGHTING. Some 20182021 Expedition/Navigator vehicles may exhibit inoperative reverse lamps with DTC B1277 stored in the body control module (BCM). The vehicle may also exhibit the auto dimming rear view mirror becoming dark as soon as the key is turned on or is inoperative. This may be due to incorrect wiring of an aftermarket 5 pin jumper connector from a non-Ford windshield supplier that is causing a short to ground. To correct this condition, inspect if the windshield was recently replaced and verify the circuits in the 5 pin jumper connector located between connector C9440 and C9224 are routed in the correct pin location and adjust as necessary. Refer to the Wiring Diagram, Cell 124-10. |

| SSM 49871 | 2021-07-02. Service bulletin. EXTERIOR LIGHTING. Some 2020-2021 Navigator Black Label vehicles may exhibit a light scratching or haziness on the headlamps and taillamps after removing the transport protective covering on the vehicle. To correct this condition, polish the affected areas using a microfiber fabric, foam pad (3M-02648 model R-0297), clear coat polisher (3M-51056) and a power tool buffer (3M-28333). Do not attempt to replace the headlamps/taillamps before applying the polishing procedure. |
