Service bulletins for the 2025 Lincoln Nautilus
A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

| SSM 55031 | 2026-07-28. Service bulletin. UNKNOWN OR OTHER; FUEL/PROPULSION SYSTEM; ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. Some 2021-2026 Ford/Lincoln vehicles may exhibit various symptoms including but not limited to the auto start/stop system not operating as intended with a "Check Charging System" message in the instrument panel cluster (IPC) while the charging system is operating properly with no charging related diagnostic trouble codes (DTC) stored. This may be due to someone using an aftermarket programmer to change the body control module (BCM) configuration to disable the auto start/stop system or perform other unsupported programming modifications. To correct this condition on F-150 and Bronco vehicles, download and run the Ford Diagnosis and Repair System (FDRS) application titled "BCM-Charging System Configuration Correction". Running this application will determine if the BCM configuration was modified by the customer and if so, provide the option to return the configuration back to factory settings. For other vehicle models exhibiting concerns related to unsupported aftermarket BCM programming, submit a Technical Support Request (TSR) requesting support to revert the BCM configuration |
| SSM 55019 | 2026-07-20. Service bulletin. UNKNOWN OR OTHER; ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. Some 2024-2025 Nautilus vehicles may exhibit an intermittent false alarm activation. This may be due to the software in the body control module (BCM). Monitor the BCM alarm event parameter identifications (PID). If ALARM_EVT_1/2/3/4 show a value of "Interior Motion Detected", reprogram the BCM using the latest software level of the Ford Diagnosis and Repair System (FDRS) scan tool. For claiming, use causal 15604 and labor operations 12651D and BCM. If ALARM_EVT_1/2/3/4 does not show a value of "Interior Motion Detected", refer to Workshop Manual (WSM), Section 419-01A > Diagnosis and Testing > Pinpoint Test E (False Alarm Activation) for normal diagnostics and repair as necessary outside of this article. |

This may be due to the DSP. To determine if the DSP is the root cause, remove the DSP fuse from the battery junction box (BCMC fuse F40 for Aviator, BCMC fuse F138 for Nautilus, BJB fuse F5 for Navigator). Inspect the fuse for an open and make sure the fuse has proper blade contact. After one minute, reinstall the good fuse. If the concern is still present or a fuse concern is found, refer to Workshop Manual (WSM), Section 415-00 for normal diagnostics. If communication has been re-established with the DSP, install a new DSP ordered from Ford Component Sales using the On-Line 1878 form to correct this condition.
