Service bulletins for the 2016 Land Rover Range Rover

A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

SSM735312017-12-14. Service bulletin. SUSPENSION. Issue: Suppliers of the Range Rover Evoque (L538) front and rear Dynamic Suspension dampers have identified a defect in the manufacturing process whereby some components may not have been fully assembled during certain build periods. It is possible that a number of components manufactured during this build period may have been sent to Neovia for use in Service as JLR approved replacement parts. Components supplied for volume production at JLR manufacturing plants are not affected by this issue.
SSM649172017-12-14. Service bulletin. SUSPENSION. Issue: Dynamic Response fluid leaking from the reservoir cap and / or suspension fault warning on the Instrument Pack with the following Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) C1119-09, C1B11-62, C1046-91, C104A-94, C104B-94, C104C-94, C1049-94 stored in the Dynamic Response Control Module (DRCM). Claims are being received where ARC system components (reservoir, reservoir cap, reservoir suction hose, reservoir return hose and DRS Valve block) are being replaced, when a manual bleed should resolve the issue.
SGI16-572017-09-08. Service bulletin. SUSPENSION. DESCRIPTION OF ISSUE: A potential issue has been identified on a limited number of vehicles within the listed Affected Vehicle Range may have been manufactured away from process and, in some cases, the air suspension system amber warning light may appear on the instrument cluster with one or more of the Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTC) stored in the Chassis Control Module (CHCM): C1A3112, C1A3212, C1A3312, C1A3412, C1A3512, C1A3612, C1A3712, and/or C1A3812. If the air suspension amber warning light illuminates, the vehicle may remain at its current height setting. If the DTC occurs at the 'off-road' height setting, a red warning light will illuminate if the speed exceeds 25mph / 40km/h.
Q640NAS12017-09-08. Service bulletin. SUSPENSION; ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. Situation: An issue has been identified on a limited number of vehicles within the listed Affected Vehicle Range may have been manufactured away from process and, in some cases, the air suspension system amber warning light may appear on the instrument cluster with one or more of the Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTC) stored in the Chassis Control Module (CHCM): C1A3112, C1A3212, C1A3312, C1A3412, C1A3512, C1A3612, C1A3712, and/or C1A3812.
N024NAS12017-08-25. Service bulletin. SUSPENSION; ELECTRONIC STABILITY CONTROL:AUTOMATIC (ASC). Situation: An issue has been identified on certain vehicles within the listed Affected Vehicle Range which may have been manufactured away from process and, in some cases, a general warning/information message (red or amber) for the air suspension system. This could occur in normal driving when the air suspension system attempts to vent air or when the vehicle attempts to lower itself, either by the driver demand or automatic access.
SGI17-172017-08-25. Service bulletin. SUSPENSION. LTB00604NAS52017-06-13. Service bulletin. SUSPENSION:FRONT:SPRINGS:AIR SUSPENSION SYSTEM. "SITUATION: A 'KNOCK' SOUND FROM ONE OR BOTH FRONT AIR SPRINGS WHEN TRAVELING OVER SPEED BUMPS AT LOW SPEED MAY BE EVIDENT. UPON DIAGNOSIS, INCLUDING REMOVAL OF THE AIR SPRING AND INVERTING IT FOR A PERIOD OF APPROXIMATELY ONE MINUTE, HYDRAULIC FLUID IS FOUND TO FLOW FROM THE AIR SUSPENSION PIPE 'VOSS' CONNECTOR."

SUSPENSION:FRONT:WHEEL BEARING; SERVICE BRAKES, HYDRAULIC:ANTILOCK/TRACTION CONTROL/ELECTRONIC LIMITED SLIP:WHEEL SPEED SENSOR/TONE RING; SERVICE BRAKES, AIR:ANTILOCK:WHEEL SPEED SENSOR; SUSPENSION. CONTAMINATION BETWEEN ABS WHEEL SPEED SENSOR AND WHEEL BEARING TONE WHEEL COULD LEAD TO DTC'S
SSM725502017-06-12. Service bulletin. SUSPENSION. "ISSUE: A CUSTOMER MAY REPORT THAT DURING CERTAIN DRIVING MANOEUVRES THERE IS A GROAN NOISE FROM THE SUSPENSION THAT LASTS APPROXIMATELY 1 SECOND. THE MAIN DRIVING MANOEUVRES ASSOCIATED WITH THIS ARE: 1. STEERING RIGHT AND THEN HITTING A BUMP/RIDGE IN THE ROAD VERY SOON AFTER. 2. STEERING TO THE RIGHT AND THEN SHARPLY STEERING TO THE LEFT. CAUSE: THIS IS CAUSED BY THE FLUID MOVING WITHIN THE DYNAMIC RESPONSE VALVE BLOCK COMBINED WITH RAPID SYSTEM PRESSURE CHANGES."
