One is ordinary coolant colored GREEN (also used for combustion engine models) and the other is the EV (low-conductivity) coolant colored BLUE. The Niro EV vehicle may be equipped with either one of these coolant color types and is normal for this vehicle application.

Prior to following the standard diagnostic steps for the DTC as outlined in KGIS, on vehicles built before October 2018, the NVLD signal wire needs to be checked for insulation and/or core damage.

Follow the procedure in this bulletin to install a spacer at the OBC coolant inlet hose. Before conducting the procedure, verify that the vehicle is included in the list of affected VINs.
