By component

United States: NHTSA, as of 2026-10-19
04V4100002004-08-19. STRUCTURE. ON CERTAIN TRUCKS, THE BRACKET, USED TO SUPPORT THE BATTERY BOX AND STEP, CAN CRACK. Built 2003-11-01 to 2004-02-20.
03V4100002003-10-20. STEERING:LINKAGES:KNUCKLE:SPINDLE:ARM. ON CERTAIN TRUCKS EQUIPPED WITH DANA SPICER INTEGRAL KNUCKLE AND STEER ARM ASSEMBLIES, THE STEER AXLE ASSEMBLIES MAY HAVE A LONGITUDINAL CRACK IN THE STEER ARM. Built 2003-08-21 to 2003-08-21.
03V2340002003-07-01. UNKNOWN OR OTHER. ON CERTAIN HEAVY DUTY TRUCKS EQUIPPED WITH VERTICAL TAIL PIPES, THE FRAME ACCESS GRABHANDLE IS MOUNTED TOO HIGH. Built 2002-11-12 to 2003-04-30.
03V1680002003-05-05. TRAILER HITCHES:FIFTH WHEEL ASSEMBLY. ON CERTAIN TRUCKS EQUIPPED WITH JOST INTERNATIONAL JSK 37U SERIES FIFTH WHEELS, A FATIGUE CRACK CAN DEVELOP IN THE BRACKET PIN WELD UNDER CERTAIN LOADING CONDITIONS. Built 2001-07-18 to 2003-05-15.
03V0450002003-02-13. EXTERIOR LIGHTING. CERTAIN TRUCKS EQUIPPED WITH TRAILER CONNECTIONS FAIL TO COMPLY WITH THE REQUIREMENTS OF FEDERAL MOTOR VEHICLE SAFETY STANDARDS (FMVSS) NO. 121, "AIR BRAKE SYSTEMS," AND NO. 108, "LAMPS, REFLECTIVE DEVICES, AND ASSOCIATED EQUIPMENT." THE SUPPLIER REMOVED A RUBBER GROMMET FROM THE TRAILER LIGHT LINE CONNECTOR. THE VEHICLES ARE EXPERIENCING CORROSION AT THE 7-WAY TRAILER CONNECTION. THIS CAUSES INTERMITTENT FLASHING/FLICKERING OF THE TRAILER LIGHTS. Built 2002-05-23 to 2003-02-14.

20042992004-08-23. Other. On certain vehicles, the battery box brackets, used to support the battery box and step, may develop a crack in the inboard radius. A crack in the bracket may lead to premature failure of the bracket causing the step to fail without warning, when an individual steps on it, causing a fall. Correction: Dealers will replace the battery box brackets.
20032502003-10-21. Steering. On certain vehicles, a longitudinal crack in the steer arm assembly may intersect a tapered hole that is machined into the part and used to mount the draglink ball stud to the steer arm. If this crack should propagate, the ball stud could become loose resulting in a loss of steering. Correction: Dealer will replace the knuckle and steer arm assemblies.
20031632003-07-02. Other. On certain vehicles, the grabhandles were mounted too high and may limit the ability to maintain 3-points of contact at all times. This condition may cause a person to slip and/or fall and could lead to personal injury. Correction: Dealer will relocate the handle to the proper height.
20031212003-05-05. Other. On certain vehicles, fatigue cracks can initiate in the weld joining the bracket pin to its mounting flange on the fifth wheel assembly. Weld failures could lead to the loss of the pin and the potential separation of the fifth wheel top plate from its mounting structure without warning. Correction: Dealers will replace the bracket pins.
20030342003-02-13. Lights And Instruments. On certain vehicles a rubber grommet from the trailer light line connector is missing. Kenworth chassis equipped with trailer connections are experiencing corrosion at the 7-way trailer connector with the light line because of the missing grommet, which causes intermittent flashing/flickering of the trailer lights. The elimination of this grommet allowed water to enter the connection and begin corroding, which can cause a short and/or possible fire hazard. Correction: Dealer will install the missing grommet and if a connector is found defective, it will be replaced.

A campaign lists a year, a make and a model, and often only some of the vehicles built. A list with nothing on it is not a clearance either. The lookups below check one VIN.
