08-021-16 REV. B2017-11-03. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:SOFTWARE. Flash: BCM Diagnostic And System Improvements This bulletin involves reprogramming the Body Control Module (BCM) with the latest available software. The customer may describe one or more of the following: When ParkSense is turned off, the LED on the switch will turn on indicating the system is disabled. On the next key cycle the system is still disabled, but the LED on the switch will not turn on. Rear interior overhead lamps remain illuminated after exiting vehicle and locking from the driver's or passenger's door lock buttons. This is causing the vehicle battery to go dead. The door locks are inoperative when locking/unlocking remotely. False activation of the vehicle security alarm. False exterior light failure messages being displayed in the instrument cluster.

Flash: Engine Does Not Start at The First Attempt This bulletin involves upgrading the software in the Electronic Steering Lock (ESL) Module. The customer may experience malfunction on first attempt to start the vehicle. Initial cranking is inhibited but should start/crank on the second attempt. Upon further inspection the technician may find Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) B1000-01 - Electronic Control Unit - General Electrical Failure stored in the ESL Module.
08-078-16 REV. A2017-11-03. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:SOFTWARE. Flash: Park Assist Module (PAM) Enhancements This bulletin involves reprogramming the PAM with the latest available software. Customers may experience a Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) illumination. Upon further investigation the technician may find that the following DTC has been set: B1000-46 - Electronic Control Unit - Calibration/Parameter Memory Failure.In addition, the customer may notice one of the following conditions: The Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC) shows messages ?ParkSense not available" or "ParkSense disconnected". The park assist system may not be available at start up.
21-035-162017-11-03. Service bulletin. POWER TRAIN:AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION:CONTROL MODULE (TCM/PCM/TECM). Transmission Shift And Drivability Enhancements For P0901-00. This bulletin involves performing transmission harness replacement per S55 recall.Both the PCM and TCM must be up to date for these changes to be effective after the transmission harness repair. Customers may experience a Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) illumination after S55 recall TCM flash has been performed. Upon further investigation the technician may find that the following Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) has been set: P0901-00 - Clutch 1 Actuator Control Circuit Range Performance.

This IPC software update will contain the following changes within the Electronic Vehicle Information Center (EVIC): · **Correct the condition; the remote door lock configuration is not available within customer programmable features (APAC market only). · Correct the condition; intermittently pushing the RKE (Remote Keyless Entry) button on the transponder key one time, only the driver?s door is unlocked. All doors are expected to open by default (APAC market only).** · Added message ?Release brake pedal before switch off" at key removal, when the gear shift lever is in the park position and the brake pedal is pressed. · Changed message from ?Unavailable Wipe Front Radar Sensor? to ?Front Radar Sensor Temporarily Blocked.?

The audible warning does not function when the vehicle speed is below 30 KMH (18.6 MPH) when ?only warning? option is selected by the customer. EMEA only: The customer may experience an erroneous message; ?Radar to be Cleaned? displayed in the cluster.

Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) Illumination Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) P0113 The wiring at the connector of the Intake Air Temperature (IAT) sensor may be compromised due to wire strain causing DTCs. This bulletin involves adding a jumper harness on the IAT sensor to reduce this strain. Some customers may experience a MIL illumination. Upon further inspection, the technician may find P0113 Intake Air Temperature Sensor 1 Circuit High. Installing the jumper harness will help prevent IAT issues from occurring.

Customer Satisfaction Notification R73 Wheel Stud Wrench The wheel stud wrench on about 11,700 of the above vehicles may break during use due to a non-compliant heat treatment process causing the material hardness to be out of specification.
