Flash: Diagnostic and System Improvements This bulletin involves reprogramming the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) with thelatest available software. The customer may experience a Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) illumination or notice the engine being too quick to shut down when coming to astop in Electric Stop Start (ESS) mode. Upon further investigation the technician may find the following DTCs set in the PCM memory:P0556 - Brake Booster Pressure Sensor Circuit Performance. U0428 - Implausible Data Received From Steering Angle Sensor Module. U1504 - Implausible Message Data Length Received From Steering Angle Sensor. C0501 - Left Front Wheel Speed Sensor Range/Performance. C0507 - Right Front Wheel Speed Sensor Range/Performance. C050D - Left Rear Wheel Speed Sensor Range/Performance. C0513 - Right Rear Wheel Speed Sensor Range/Performance. Erroneously set Wheel Speed Sensor DTCs listed above will not turn on the MIL by design but may be found during a vehiclediagnostic scan.Some customers may also experience the following condition:During an engine limp mode condition, the transmission remains in a fixedgear. In addition the following enhancements are included:Calibration update to allow the throttle body to be cycled while the engine isoff, for diagnostic purposes. Calibration update for ESS to allow the engine to remain running during a briefstop.
90038072022-10-31. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM; VEHICLE SPEED CONTROL; AIR BAGS; EQUIPMENT. HVAC Control, Actuator, Powertrain Control Module (PCM) MIL light for B104E Blend door circuit High (stored). The HVAC temperature door feedback voltage is monitored by the PCM. If the PCM detects a loss of voltage from the HVAC Temperature door it may set a B104E in the PCM. If B104E is set in the PCM please refer to the service manual for Fault Code: B104E. Please call George Sakr at cell (248) 613-7319. If no response in 15 minutes, proceed with repair. There are no Powertrain components that need to be changed for this condition.

Shifter - Automatic Transmission If a 2015 - 18MY KL ONLY is brought in with a ?Service Shifter? message on the cluster and/or the following DTCs are present indicating loss of communication with the shifter: U0103, U0103-87. Prior to beginning any repair, please call John Zbranchik at 248-576-0756 or Pablo Flores at 248-576-3972. If no reply contact Dil Weerasinha at 248-944-5967 or Jay Nagle 248-576-5657. If you are unable to contact any of the above, and all the DTCs related to loss of comm are STORED, first perform a vehicle scan with a wiTECH tool or similar and email the log to john.zbranchik@fcagroup.com and pablo.flores1@fcagroup.com. Ensure all stored DTCs in the vehicle are recorded in the log. Use the tool to clear all codes and ensure the ?Service Shifter? message does not return. If this is the first occurrence of this issue on this vehicle, do NOT replace the shifter at this time. If any DTCs related to loss of comm with the shifter are ACTIVE, a full bus log is highly desired. Please contact a regional tech representative to acquire this log. After the log is acquired, or if this is not feasible, check for loose/bent pins, spread terminals on both the male pin cavity in the shifter and the female connector from the body harness take out and all grounds. If no issues are found, replace the shifter and return it to the Quality Engineering Center (QEC).

P/N 82215206 is coded with usage on black trim models (sales code +MMF). Kit P/N for "bright" trim usage should be 82213940AB (sales code +MMP). Please make sure parts personnel understand the distinction between the 2 different applications before ordering.

DO NOT replace SHIFTER ASSEMBLY. Instead, replace PRNDM bezel only. NOTE 2: After replacing PRNDL Assembly, clear DTCs and check to confirm DTC does not return. Please return parts back to FCA Engineering if PRNDM is deemed non-functional after performing this Tech Tip. Customer Satisfaction Notification T52 The vehicle speed on about 24,000 of the above vehicles maybe limited if certain conditions are met. This can occur if the vehicle is brought to a full stop and the gear shifter is immediately moved from ?DRIVE? to ?PARK? and then the key position is changed from ?RUN? to ?ACC?. This action will cause the transmission to be limited to one gear and a maximum speed of 30 ? 45 mph and will illuminate the Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) on the instrument cluster and will set P0810 fault code. Reprogram the transmission control module.

Washer Fluid Level Sensor Prior to replacing this part due to "Low Washer Fluid" tell tale light on the dash and the washer fluid bottle is full, please perform the this inspection. Inspect the sensor for a fluid coating on the sensor pins. Orange colored rain repellant can cause this fluid build-up. Clean the pins, drain the reservoir, and fill with Mopar approved washer fluid. Check to determine if the issue has been resolved. Continue with repair if necessary. Also, please inform the customer not to use Rain-X in the system to avoid this issue.
