| 20V557000 | 2020-09-12. AIR BAGS: AIR BAG/RESTRAINT CONTROL MODULE:SOFTWARE; AIR BAGS:FRONTAL. Jaguar Land Rover North America, LLC (Jaguar) is recalling certain 2010-2011 and 2017 XJ vehicles. The Restraint Control Module (RCM) software may cause the frontal air bags to deploy improperly in the event of a frontal impact crash. |

| 17V394000 | 2017-06-22. AIR BAGS. Jaguar Land Rover North America, LLC (Jaguar) is recalling certain 2010-2011 XJ vehicles. If, while servicing the vehicle, the vehicle does not successfully receive an update to the Restraint Control Module (RCM) software, the default air bag calibration settings may be incorrect. Built 2009-08-11 to 2010-08-31. |
| 10V578000 | 2010-11-12. VISIBILITY:WINDSHIELD WIPER/WASHER. JAGUAR IS RECALLING CERTAIN MODEL YEAR 2010-2011 XJ VEHICLES MANUFACTURED FROM JULY 28, 2009, THROUGH NOVEMBER 3, 2010. THE FRONT WIPER ARMS TO SPINDLE FIXINGS WERE NOT TORQUED TO SPECIFICATION DURING MANUFACTURING. AS A RESULT, THE SECURING NUTS COULD FAIL TO PERFORM AS INTENDED, RESULTING IN A LOSS OF WIPER ARM SYNCHRONIZATION AND A CLASH OF THE WIPER ARMS. Built 2009-07-28 to 2010-11-03. |
| 2017315 | 2017-06-22. Airbag. On certain vehicles, due to a Restraint Control Module (RCM) software update error, the airbags may not deploy as intended in the event of a frontal impact. Failure of the airbags to deploy during a collision that warrants airbag deployment could increase the risk of injury to the occupants. Correction: Dealers will update the RCM with the latest software. |
|---|---|
| 2010405 | 2010-11-12. Visual System. On certain vehicles, the front wiper arm to spindle fixings may suffer torque relaxation. Torque relaxation of the securing nut could potentially result in loss of wiper arm synchronization, which can cause clash of the arms. If the wiper arms lose synchronization and clash, they could detach from the vehicle, and in certain circumstances, the driver's forward vision could be impaired, which may increase the risk of a crash. Furthermore, in this condition, the requirements of Canada Motor Vehicle Safety Standard 104 - Windshield Wiping and Washing System - will not be fully met. Correction: Dealers will ensure the wiper arm is fitted securely onto the spindle and the securing nut is tightened to the correct torque. |
A campaign lists a year, a make and a model, and often only some of the vehicles built. A list with nothing on it is not a clearance either. The lookups below check one VIN.
