MIL ON WITH DTC P0087, P0101, P0448, OR P2008 IF YOU CONFIRM An applied vehicle has one or more DTCs stored, shown in Table A on page 2, AND The ECM part number is shown in Table B, starting on page 3. ACTION 1. First perform the appropriate diagnostic procedure for the stored DTC to repair the vehicle according to the Electronic Service Manual (ESM). 2. Reprogram the ECM after performing the diagnosis and repair. • -The ECM reprogram in this Service Procedure is not a repair for the DTC, but instead updates the way the permanent DTC is stored and allowed to be erased. The DTC must be properly diagnosed and repaired before the reprogram is applied.

VOLUNTARY SERVICE CAMPAIGN 2018 QX60; ELECTRIC INTAKE VALVE TIMING CONTROL MODULE REPROGRAMMING INTRODUCTION Infiniti is conducting this voluntary service campaign on certain specific 2018 QX60 vehicles to reprogram the electric Intake Valve Timing (IVT) control module. This service will be performed at no charge to the customer for parts or labor. IDENTIFICATION NUMBER Infiniti has assigned identification number PC662 to this campaign. This number must appear on all communication and documentation of any nature dealing with this campaign. DEALER RESPONSIBILITY Dealers are to repair vehicles falling within range of this campaign that enter the service department. This includes vehicles purchased from private parties, vehicles presented by transient (tourists) owners, and vehicles in a dealer?s inventory.

Electric Intake Valve Timing Control eVTC Reprogram Voluntary Service Campaign ***** Campaign Summary ***** INFINITI is conducting a Voluntary Service Campaign to reprogram the electric intake Valve Timing Control (eVTC) module in certain 2018 model year QX60 vehicles. The current software installed may allow the Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) to illuminate improperly if certain cold start conditions are met. Clients experiencing this condition may indicate the MIL is illuminated with no driveability concerns. This service campaign supercedes Quality Action PC625 announced on May 1, 2018. ***** What Retailers Should Do ***** 1. Verify if vehicles are affected by this Voluntary Service Campaign using Service Comm or DBS National Service History ? Open Campaign I.D. PC662 - New vehicles in retailer inventory can also be identified through the attached VIN list or by using DBS (Sales-> Vehicle Inventory, and filter by Open Campaign). - Refer to IPSB 15-286 for additional information - Please continue to check newly arriving inventory for campaign applicability. 2. Retailers are requested to repair any affected vehicles in retailer new or pre-owned inventory toensure client satisfaction. 3. Retailers should use ITB18-036 to correct any vehicles subject to this campaign. 4. Once repaired, retailers should submit the claim, using the claims coding provided, and release the vehicle.

Electric Intake Valve Timing Control (eVTC) Module Retailer Inventory ***** Retailer Announcement ***** INFINITI is conducting a quality action to replace the electric intake Valve Timing Control (eVTC) module with a control module containing updated software on 1,156 specific 2018 INFINITI QX60 vehicles in new vehicle inventory. This quality action is limited to the following cold weather states: AK, CO, CT, IA, ID, IL, IN, KS, ME, MI, MN, MT, ND, NE, NV, NY, OH, PA, SD, UT, VT, WA, WI, and WY. The current software installed may incorrectly illuminate the Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) if certain cold start conditions are met. Affected vehicles are not subject to stop sale and are either currently in retailer inventory or assigned and in transit to the retailer. INFINITI requests retailers to remedy all affected inventory vehicles prior to sale to ensure client satisfaction. ***** What Retailers Should Do ***** PLEASE FOLLOW THE ATTACHED REPAIR INSTRUCTIONS: 1. Parts will begin arriving at retailers on Wednesday, May 2, 2018. - A second automatic parts shipment will arrive at retailers the week ending May 25, 2018. 3. The service department should submit the applicable warranty claim for the action performed so it can be closed on Service Comm and release the vehicle.
