MIL ON WITH DTC P062F AND/OR P0603 STORED IF YOU CONFIRM The MIL is ON and DTC P062F (EEPROM) and/or P0603 (ECM BACK UP/CIRCUIT) is stored, And The customer stated the vehicle was recently started after sitting for an extended period of time (i.e., the battery voltage was low while attempting to start the engine). ACTION 1. Test the vehicle’s 12 volt battery using the Midtronics DSS-5000. Recharge or replace the battery if necessary. 2. Erase all DTCs.

PREVENT FRONT AXLE THREAD DAMAGE DURING AXLE NUT REMOVAL SERVICE INFORMATION If an Applied Vehicle needs to have a front axle nut removed, for any reason, the staking of the nut into the axle keyway must first be removed. The essential tool (part number # J-52982, Figure 1) required to remove the nut staking, is called out as a “Cape Chisel” in the Electronic Service Manual (ESM), and must be used to prevent thread damage to the axle (see Figure 2 on page 2). • The Cape Chisel arrived at dealers in December of 2020. • Damaged threads, due to improper removal of the stake placed in the nut, will not be covered by warranty. EQUIPMENT ADAPTIVE/MOBILITY; EQUIPMENT; POWER TRAIN. 2019-2020 QX50; CVT FLUID COOLER HOSE LEAK IF YOU CONFIRM CVT fluid is leaking from the upper CVT fluid cooler hose, at the CVT cooler. Or The upper CVT fluid cooler hose has become detached while driving. NOTE: If CVT fluid is leaking from any other location, this bulletin does not apply. Refer to the ESM for further diagnostic and repair information. ACTION Follow the service procedure in this bulletin to replace the upper CVT fluid cooler hose and clamps. • Do NOT follow the procedure in the ESM for CVT fluid cooler hose replacement. • Do NOT reconnect the original upper CVT fluid cooler hose.
