Technician will need to perform a scan for Diagnostic Trouble Codes. Technician will need to follow published Service Information diagnostics if there are Diagnostic Trouble Codes present. If the concern is and intermittent this Preliminary Information communication will be updated with a repair. When the personalization selections are not missing from the Comfort and Convenience menu but they are missing from other menus such as the Climate and Air Quality, Collision/Detection Systems, and Lighting menus, refer to bulletin 17-NA-086. Memory seat adjustments may not be available tech will need to perform a Memory Seat Module replacement/programming.

Inspect harness for chaffed by the I-shaft at the base of the steering column. If chaffed, repair damaged wires and zip tie the harness away from the I-shaft. Also Inspect the HVAC drain hose is properly routed and not plugged.
17389 (Bulletin2018-05-07. Service bulletin. POWER TRAIN. 17389 - Service Update. Some vehicles were shipped with a power transfer unit (PTU) that failed leak testing. Dealers are to replace the PTU.

Certain vehicles, equipped with 2.5L Engines (RPO LCV), may have been built with an engine block with incomplete cylinder bore machining. Engines may demonstrate high oil consumption and/or unusual engine noise. Dealers will replace the engine assembly.
