Service bulletins for the 2024 Forest River Rockport

A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

14 on file from NHTSA, as of 2026-10-19.

Bulletins, newest first
511952F2025-11-25. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM; VISIBILITY/WIPER. According to Ford Recall 25V315/25S49: "The infotainment screen may freeze followed by a black screen and a system reboot. If this occurs during a backing event, the rear-view image may be frozen, missing, or delayed. A frozen rear-view camera display image while in reverse can reduce the driver’s view of what is behind the vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash."
5119672025-09-26. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM; UNKNOWN OR OTHER. According to Ford recall 25V442 / 25S72: "On your vehicle, it may be possible an error in the SYNC software can cause SYNC system instability concerns and/or a failure to preserve certain settings across ignition cycles. This may result in an intermittent blank image while in reverse or rear-view image remaining on display after reverse driving has ended. Other non-safety related symptoms may be present such as a black infotainment screen, incorrect language setting, and/or potential inability to perform software updates. A rear-view camera that intermittently displays a blank image while in reverse can reduce the driver’s view of what is behind the vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash. A rear-view camera that remains on after the backing event has ended can distract the driver, increasing the risk of a crash."
5119522025-08-18. Service bulletin. VISIBILITY/WIPER; ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. According to Ford Recall 25V315: "The infotainment screen may freeze followed by a black screen and a system reboot. If this occurs during a backing event, the rear-view image may be frozen, missing, or delayed. A frozen rear-view camera display image while in reverse can reduce the driver’s view of what is behind the vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash."
5119462025-08-18. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM; VISIBILITY/WIPER. According to FCA recall 25V330: "The Security Gateway Module (SGW) on your vehicle may prevent some communication between vehicle modules, which may result in the rearview image not displaying in a backing event. The vehicle operator may notice that the rearview image is not displayed if attempting to reference the image while backing. A rearview camera image that does not display reduces the driver's visibility of what is behind the vehicle and if not heeded, increases the risk of a crash."
5117622024-05-28. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM; POWER TRAIN. The routing of the main wiring harness might contact the drive shaft and chafe, which could result in a short circuit, loss of drive power, power steering, and brake control system. A short circuit increases the risk of a fire, and a loss of drive power, power steering, and brake system control increases the risk of a crash. This is in reference to Mercedes-Benz Recall Campaign 24V166.
