Service bulletins for the 2022 Ford Ranger
A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

| SSM 52476 | 2024-05-03. Service bulletin. EQUIPMENT. All accessory stick-on keyless entry keypads come with a wallet card containing the master code. If the accessory keypad was factory installed, this card will be placed in the glove box and should be handed to the vehicles owner during initial delivery. Unlike the integrated (wired) factory keypad, the accessory keypad master code cannot be retrieved from the vehicle using a diagnostic scan tool. If the wallet card for an accessory keypad is lost, follow these steps to recover the code. Dealer Key Code access is granted through the Dealer Program Enrollment System (DPES); dealership management can authorize users. The authorized user must go to FMCDealer.com > Parts and Service > Parts Product Line Information > Keys/Entry Devices > Aftermarket Keyless Entry Keypad Code Access. Follow the instructions on the screen to obtain the master code for the accessory keypad. |

| SSM 50603 | 2022-03-22. Service bulletin. EQUIPMENT; VISIBILITY:DEFROSTER/DEFOGGER/HVAC SYSTEM. Some 2019-2022 Ranger vehicles may experience condensation from the climate control system dripping on the driver's side floor and/or the driver's foot. This may be due to improper or poorly wrapped evaporator lines between the interior bulkhead and the climate control assembly case. Using a flashlight and a mirror, inspect the evaporator lines for being exposed or poorly wrapped. The cut ends of the mastic wrap should be on the top of the lines and have complete coverage. If an issue is found, cover the lines by manipulating the existing mastic wrap, or by adding more mastic to better insulate the lines and limit condensation. |

Some 2019-2022 Ranger vehicles may experience an uneven and/or excessive gap existing between the instrument panel (IP) topper and the center tray/upfitter switch assembly. This may be due to a lack of rigidity in the IP topper not allowing the tray/upfitter switch assembly to latch properly. The following foam block service kits should be used to correct this condition. For vehicles equipped with an IP tray, order service part # KB3Z-2104338-AG, which includes a new IP tray and foam blocks. For vehicles equipped with the upfitter switch assembly, order service part # KB3Z-2104338-A, which only includes the foam blocks. If a new upfitter switch assembly is required, this must be ordered separately. Follow the installation instructions included with each kit to install the foam blocks and repair the vehicle. |
