Service bulletins for the 2021 Ford Ranger
A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

| SSM 50296 | 2021-12-07. Service bulletin. SERVICE BRAKES. Some 2021 Ranger and Bronco vehicles built on 15-Jun-2021 and through 15-Aug-2021 may exhibit an illuminated anti-lock brake system (ABS) warning indicator lamp with diagnostic trouble codes (DTC) C003A, C0036, C0037, and/or C0039 stored in the ABS control module. This may be due to damage or movement of the ABS tone ring on the rear axle. Remove the ABS sensor and inspect the rear ABS tone ring for damage or movement from its original position. If movement or damage has occurred, refer to Workshop Manual (WSM), Section 205-02 to complete the service procedure for axle shaft replacement. If no movement has occurred, refer to WSM, Section 206-09 for normal diagnostics. |
