Reason for update: * Update the Service Procedure to: - Remove Step related connecting a battery charger - Add Step 7 and Step 29 along with Figure 4 to include mass damper remove and install. * Update the Parts list: - Updated to include rear electric drive assembly studded bolts and nuts to secure the mass damper. Some of the vehicles listed in the Model statement above may exhibit at least one of the following conditions: * Stuck in park * "Service Vehicle Soon" message in the instrument panel cluster (IPC) * Illuminated powertrain malfunction (wrench) indicator with diagnostic trouble code (DTC) P07E6:71 stored in the secondary on-board diagnostic control module C (SOBDMC) This may be due to high ground resistance of the park pawl motor.

POWER TRAIN. * 2021-2024 Bronco Sport built on or before 15-Dec-2024<br /> * 2022-2024 Mustang Mach-E<br /> * 2022-2025 Escape built on or before 22-May-2025<br /> * 2024 Maverick vehicles built on or after 17-Jan-2024<br /> <br /> Some of the above vehicles may exhibit an illuminated powertrain malfunction (wrench) indicator with diagnostic trouble code (DTC) P0929 stored in the gear shift module (GSM). This may be due to the software in the GSM. To correct the condition, reprogram the GSM module using the latest software level of the Ford Diagnosis and Repair System (FDRS). For claiming, use causal part 7P155 and labor operation numbers 7001D and 7001D4.
SSM 539732025-07-02. Service bulletin. POWER TRAIN; ENGINE. Some 2021-2024 Edge/Nautilus, 2021-2025 Bronco/Bronco Sport/E-Series/Escape/Corsair/Expedition/Navigator/Explorer/Aviator/F-150/F-Super Duty/Mustang/Ranger, and 2022-2025 Maverick vehicles may require an A/C compressor clutch assembly replacement be performed for various concerns. Workshop Manual (WSM), Section 412-00 Removal and Installation has been updated to eliminate the need to remove and install the A/C compressor to change out the A/C Compressor clutch assembly.
