Service bulletins for the 2026 Ford Maverick

A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

SSM 548082026-05-14. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM; UNKNOWN OR OTHER; EXTERIOR LIGHTING. The instrument panel cluster (IPC) in 2023-2026 Escape and 2025-2026 Maverick hybrid vehicles has a power gauge section on the left side of the display. This power gauge section has a white or gray engine icon that is specifically used to indicate when the vehicle is operating in a specific hybrid mode. The white or gray engine icons are a normal function of the vehicles hybrid display and do not indicate that there is a malfunction and no service actions are necessary to address it. The Owners Manual and Workshop Manual, Section 413-01 > Description and Operation are expected to be updated by the end of Q2 2026.
ITRM-25.A04 Maverick2026-05-01. Over-the-air update. SERVICE BRAKES; EXTERIOR LIGHTING; UNKNOWN OR OTHER; ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. 26C10 Recall remedy -Addresses instances where the trailer lights and trailer brakes may not function
SSM 547692026-04-28. Service bulletin. EXTERIOR LIGHTING. Bronco Sport and Maverick vehicles utilize an advanced headlamp design that features a sharp horizontal light-to-dark transition. This is an intentional optical characteristic designed to meet safety and performance standards. This transition is a normal attribute of the vehicles lighting signature and is most visible during high-beam operation. No repair is required as the system is functioning to specification. Workshop Manual (WSM), Section 417-01 Exterior Lighting > Description and Operation > Exterior Lighting - Overview has been revised to clarify this condition as an operating characteristic of the vehicle.
