NHTSA's summary

Bronco Sport and Maverick vehicles utilize an advanced headlamp design that features a sharp horizontal light-to-dark transition. This is an intentional optical characteristic designed to meet safety and performance standards. This transition is a normal attribute of the vehicles lighting signature and is most visible during high-beam operation. No repair is required as the system is functioning to specification. Workshop Manual (WSM), Section 417-01 Exterior Lighting > Description and Operation > Exterior Lighting - Overview has been revised to clarify this condition as an operating characteristic of the vehicle.

SSM 548082026-05-14. Service bulletin. The instrument panel cluster (IPC) in 2023-2026 Escape and 2025-2026 Maverick hybrid vehicles has a power gauge section on the left side of the display. This power gauge section has a white or gray engine icon that is specifically used to indicate when the vehicle is operating in a specific hybrid mode. The white or gray engine icons are a normal function of the vehicles hybrid display and do not indicate that there is a malfunction and no service actions are necessary to address it. Some 2024 Maverick vehicles equipped with low series headlamps and built on 14-Nov-2023 and through 31-Jan-2024 may exhibit one or both headlamp high beams inoperative with diagnostic trouble code(s) (DTCs) B14E5:01 and/or B14E7:01 stored in the BCM. This may be due to the headlamp assembly. To correct the condition, follow the Service Procedure to replace the headlamp assembly.
SSM 525162024-05-17. Service bulletin. Some 2022-2024 Maverick vehicles may exhibit a condition where the rear lamp assemblies do not fit tightly or have a large gap to the body. Ford is aware of the concern and this condition does not affect vehicle durability and no additional diagnosis or service is required for this condition at this time. Inform customers that they can continue to drive the vehicle and a solution for this condition is expected by 3th quarter of 2024. Some 2021-2023 Bronco Sport vehicles built on or before 01-Nov-2022 equipped with light emitting diode (LED) control module (A2C7636130500 printed onto the module label) may exhibit a condition where the daytime running lamps (DRLs) stay on for up to 10 minutes after the vehicle is turned off and/or daytime running lamps momentarily dim to park intensity when the turn signal lamp is cancelled before returning to full DRL intensity. This may be due to the software in the LED control module. To correct this condition, follow the Service Procedure to replace both LED control modules and update the configuration of the body control module (BCM).
SSM 516452023-05-23. Service bulletin. Some 2021-2022 Bronco Sport vehicles may exhibit a condition where the low beams turn on by themselves while the vehicle is OFF for 10 or more minutes with diagnostic trouble code (DTC) B1533 stored in the body control module (BCM). SSM 512992023-01-31. Service bulletin. Some 2022 Maverick vehicles may exhibit a condition of intermittent headlamp operation while the vehicle is OFF and have diagnostic trouble code (DTC) B1533 stored in the body control module (BCM). This may be due to the internal logic within the headlamp switch. To correct this condition, replace the headlamp switch (11654). Refer Workshop Manual, Section 417-01. SSM 496452021-03-31. Service bulletin. All 2021 Bronco Sport vehicles have headlamp low beam pattern with a dark spot dip near the horizon in the left portion of the beam pattern. These dark spots are most noticeable when the high beam is active. Although this dark spot is present by design, this issue may be more perceivable to the customer if the headlamps are aimed too low (dark spot will appear closer to vehicle). The vertical aim should be checked and adjusted upwards if necessary, refer to Workshop Manual (WSM) Section 417-01.
