SSM 507182022-05-03. Service bulletin. SERVICE BRAKES. Some 2017-2022 F-Super Duty vehicles may exhibit a pull / drift condition during braking. This may be due to the brake pads needing to be broken in. The Workshop Manual, Section 206-00 Symptom Chart for vehicle pulls or drifts during braking has been updated to reflect this information.
SSM 507122022-05-03. Service bulletin. POWER TRAIN:AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION. Some 2022 F-Super Duty four-wheel drive (4WD) pickup vehicles equipped with a 6.7L engine may exhibit a momentary, slight grinding type noise prior to the 4-3 downshift while coasting without the brakes applied. This condition does not affect vehicle durability. Replacement of the transmission or other components will not resolve this condition and engineering is currently working on a solution which is expected to be available by June 2022. Let the customer know they can continue to drive the vehicle and schedule a follow-up appointment for June 2022. Monitor OASIS for updates and confirm that the service appointment is going forward once the repair becomes available.
SSM 506732022-04-13. Service bulletin. ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING. Some 2020-2022 F-Super Duty vehicles equipped with a 6.7L engine may exhibit a cooling fan with excessive noise or stays on continuously.
