Cruise control may also be inoperable. If this concern is still present after normal diagnosis, clear the DTC with the appropriate Ford diagnostic scan tool and schedule a follow-up appointment for service in March 2021. Inform the customer that engineering is working to implement a solution for this condition and advise the customer that they can continue to drive the vehicle. This condition does not create drivability concerns and has no effect on long-term durability. Once the solution becomes available, contact the customer and confirm a service appointment.
