Service bulletins for the 2025 Ford Bronco Sport

A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

SSM 552212026-10-12. Service bulletin. UNKNOWN OR OTHER; POWER TRAIN; ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. For 20222026 vehicles equipped with a 8F35 transmission, a revision to the Road Testing Vehicle procedure has been made in the WSM, Section 307-01 > Diagnosis and Testing. This updated procedure improves the diagnosis of customer reported transmission concerns and aids in locating the proper root cause. During diagnosis and testing, details regarding whether the condition is more prevalent when the vehicle is hot or cold, throttle percentage at the time of occurrence, vehicle speed, the specific shift involved, and whether the issue occurs during transmission engagements (N>R, N>D, R>D, and/or D>R) should be noted in the warranty claim. Engineering requests including these detailed operating conditions that will significantly assist with root cause analysis. Diagnosis, testing, and repair should use established labor times outside this article.
TSB 26-24142026-09-14. Service bulletin. POWER TRAIN; UNKNOWN OR OTHER; ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. This article supersedes 26-2058 Reason for update: update the TSB title and TSB issue to include new DTCs Some of the vehicles listed in the Model statement above may exhibit all of the following conditions: * Intermittent or permanent no reverse (R) engagement * Illuminated MIL with DTC P0767 or P0765:7E stored in the powertrain control module (PCM) In addition to the required conditions, the vehicle may also exhibit a harsh reverse engagement, P0766, P0765:7F, P0736 and/or P2703 stored in the PCM. This may be due to an internal mechanical concern with the selectable one-way clutch (SOWC).
SSM 551122026-09-01. Service bulletin. UNKNOWN OR OTHER; ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. Some 2025 Bronco Sport vehicles may exhibit a condition where the intelligent oil life monitor feature in the instrument panel cluster (IPC) auto resets to 100%, is stuck at a high percentage, and/or reduces to 0% in less than 1,000 miles (1,600 km) under normal usage. This may be due to the software in the IPC. Replacement or reprogramming of the IPC will not resolve this condition. This condition does not affect vehicle durability, and no additional diagnosis or service is required for this condition at this time. Inform customers that they can continue to drive the vehicle and engineering is currently working on a solution for this condition that is expected in Q1 2027. Advise the customer to monitor oil service intervals based on vehicle mileage since the last oil change in accordance with the Scheduled Maintenance section in the Owners Manual. Monitor Professional Technician System (PTS) for additional information and schedule service appointments for customers once the repair becomes available. SSM 550312026-07-28. Service bulletin. UNKNOWN OR OTHER; FUEL/PROPULSION SYSTEM; ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. Some 2021-2026 Ford/Lincoln vehicles may exhibit various symptoms including but not limited to the auto start/stop system not operating as intended with a "Check Charging System" message in the instrument panel cluster (IPC) while the charging system is operating properly with no charging related diagnostic trouble codes (DTC) stored. This may be due to someone using an aftermarket programmer to change the body control module (BCM) configuration to disable the auto start/stop system or perform other unsupported programming modifications. To correct this condition on F-150 and Bronco vehicles, download and run the Ford Diagnosis and Repair System (FDRS) application titled "BCM-Charging System Configuration Correction". Running this application will determine if the BCM configuration was modified by the customer and if so, provide the option to return the configuration back to factory settings. For other vehicle models exhibiting concerns related to unsupported aftermarket BCM programming, submit a Technical Support Request (TSR) requesting support to revert the BCM configuration
SSM 550212026-07-21. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM; UNKNOWN OR OTHER. Some 2025-2026 Bronco/Bronco Sport/Corsair/F-150/F-Super Duty/Maverick/Mustang/Mustang Mach-E/Ranger vehicles may exhibit a no audio/sound condition. This may be due to the software in the audio control module (ACM). To determine if it is a software concern, disconnect the vehicle's 12-volt battery cables for 10 minutes and reconnect. If the concern is still present, continue with normal diagnostics in Workshop Manual (WSM), Section 415-00 Information and Entertainment System > General Information > Diagnosis and Testing and repair as necessary outside of this article. If the no audio/sound concern is resolved, reprogram the ACM using the latest software level of the Ford Diagnosis and Repair System (FDRS). For claiming, use causal part 18C869 and labor operations 10654C, 12651D and 12651D4.
SSM 550082026-07-20. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM; VISIBILITY/WIPER; SEATS; UNKNOWN OR OTHER. Some 2021-2026 Ford vehicles may exhibit inoperative heated/cooled seats, heated steering wheel and/or front/rear defrost features after a remote start is performed through the Ford mobile application or with the key fob. Customers may also experience heated/cooled seats, heated steering wheel and/or front/rear defrost features turning on in unexpected conditions such as during warmer weather. These features will operate normally when commanded in the center display screen. This may be due to the customer not setting up their "Climate Settings" through the Ford mobile application. To correct this condition, inform the customer they should perform a remote start from the Ford mobile application and then adjust the "Climate Settings" in the Ford mobile application as desired. These settings only need to be set once and will persist through subsequent remote starts. Heated and cooled seats will be set to Level 2 when turned ON via "Climate Settings" in the Ford mobile application during a remote start event. This is normal operating characteristic. This condition does not affect vehicle durability and no a
