Service bulletins for the 2021 Ford Bronco Sport
A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

| TSB 23-2308 | 2023-11-02. Service bulletin. SERVICE BRAKES, AIR:DISC:CALIPER; POWER TRAIN:AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION:INTERNAL:BEARINGS/BUSHINGS; EQUIPMENT. Some 2020-2023 Escape and 2021-2023 Bronco Sport vehicles may exhibit a moan noise when the vehicle is driven in reverse (R) in cold weather and/or high humidity. This may be due to the suspension sensitivity of the vehicle. To correct this condition, follow the Service Procedure to replace the standard and reinforced rear caliper bushings and apply Kluberpaste to the machined surfaces of the brake caliper and caliper support bracket. |

| SSM 51537 | 2023-05-04. Service bulletin. POWER TRAIN:AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION:CONTROL MODULE (TCM/PCM/TECM). Some 2021-2023 Bronco Sport vehicles may exhibit an illuminated MIL with diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) P025A, P025B, P00C6, P008A, P0627 and/or U0109 stored in the powertrain control module (PCM). This may be due to an intermittent or partial disconnect of the harness, connector pin push-outs or loose/corroded grounds to the fuel pump control module (FPCM) connector, PCM connector and/or battery junction box connector. Inspect the following connectors for 1.5L and 2.0L engines: C1551B, C1035A, C110, C401, C4033, C4330. Verify the connections are fully seated, without damage and/or pushed out pins/terminals prior to performing Workshop Manual (WSM) diagnostics or replacing any components. Inspect G404 and verify it's clean and secure. If any connector damage is found, repair as necessary. Refer to Wiring Diagram, Cell 005. |
