Service bulletins for the 1994 Ford Aspire
A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

| 95193 | 1996-04-25. Service bulletin. SUSPENSION:FRONT:CONTROL ARM:LOWER ARM. A 'CLUNK' NOISE MAY BE HEARD WHILE TURNING AT SLOW SPEEDS (5-15 MPH/ 8-24KM/H). THIS MAY BE CAUSED BY INCORRECT TORQUING OF THE LOWER CONTROL ARM-TO-CHASSIS BOLTS DURING THE MANUFACTURING PROCESS. THE BOLTS ARE SELF-LOCKING AND WILL NOT BACK OUT, BUT MUST BE RETORQUED TO THE HIGHER TORQUE VALVE TO RESOLVE THE NOISE CONCERN. |
