Some vehicles may experience a water leak from the passenger side A-Pillar area due to incomplete sealing within the plenum. The leak may be observed in the passenger front footwall, causing the carpet and sound deadener pad to become wet. Reseal the A-pillar to Plenum intersecting sheet metal.

Inspect harness for chaffed by the I-shaft at the base of the steering column. If chaffed, repair damaged wires and zip tie the harness away from the I-shaft. Also Inspect the HVAC drain hose is properly routed and not plugged.

Technician will find Diagnostic Trouble Code P07BE or P17F3 in the Chassis Control Module. Technician will need to update the Chassis Control Module with the latest software available in Tis-2-Web. If the vehicle returns or the vehicle was built after the build date shown technician is directed to test for terminal concerns and is advised that an updated shift lever knob is now available.
