SUNROOF WATER LEAK DIAGNOSIS: This bulletin outlines multiple known areas of possible water entry for the vehicles listed above. It serves only as a diagnostic resource in troubleshooting water leak complaints from the roof area. This bulletin does not include all potential areas of water entry from the sunroof. Additional diagnosis may be required for vehicles which are not affected by the scenarios outlined below. The following situations are known to be potential causes for water entry into the vehicle from the sunroof area: Incorrect adjustment of sunroof glass panels Damage to the sunroof "perimeter seal" mounted to the roof Misplaced or damaged support foam for the center drip tray Damaged side seals of the rear sunroof glass panel Improperly installed clogged or kinked panoramic sunroof drain.

WIND NOISE FROM WINDSHIELD SIDE TRIM: A wind noise from the windshield area is present while driving caused by a separation of the windshield side trim (circled) on one or both sides. Improper bonding of the side windshield trim during production.
B6123152019-12-16. Service bulletin. EQUIPMENT; VISIBILITY:WINDSHIELD WIPER/WASHER. Low Washer Fluid Warning Light is illuminated when the Washer Fluid Tank is Full : The low washer fluid warning is illuminated even though the washer fluid reservoir is full. There are no faults stored in the system for the washer fluid level switch. A non-approved washer fluid was used that is silicone-based. Silicone-based fluids are not compatible with the contactless capacitive level sensor. Fluids that contain a silicone additive are normally colored other than blue.
B5413192019-12-16. Service bulletin. EQUIPMENT ADAPTIVE/MOBILITY; VISIBILITY:SUN/MOON ROOF ASSEMBLY. FRONT ROLLER SUNSHADE LOOSE. The roller sunshade (aka sun protection or sunblind) of the front panoramic sunroof is bunching up during operation or may hang down and appear loose. This bulletin only applies to vehicles with an Alcantara headliner. The Alcantara material may be too thick to operate correctly in the panoramic sunroof frame.
B6119192019-11-18. Service bulletin. VISIBILITY; ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. WINDOWS WON'T OPERATE WITH DOORS OPEN, AND WHILE USING THE DIGITAL KEY/CARD. The customer complains that none of the windows will operate while any door is open. This only happens when the BMW Digital Key (Smart Phone) or Key Card are placed on the wireless charging tray in the center console.

B5405192019-06-24. Service bulletin. EQUIPMENT ADAPTIVE/MOBILITY; VISIBILITY:SUN/MOON ROOF ASSEMBLY. BUTYL ON ROOF AROUND REAR SUNROOF GLASS. CAUSE Exposure to normal ambient heat can cause the factory-applied sunroof butyl to expand and leak out from around the rear sunroof glass.
