Service bulletins for the 2022 BMW X3
A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

| B511722 | 2022-12-12. Service bulletin. FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE; VISIBILITY; LANE DEPARTURE; STEERING; ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. Due to the semiconductor supply, the Local Interconnect Network module in either of the exterior mirrors was switched to another controller. That one provides an imprecise voltage measurement, which the main controller interprets as a fault. For the driving cycle, the customer may lose the display in either mirror and the Lane Change Warning function and, if installed, other functions such as- Side collision warning; Lane Change Assistant; Steering and Lane Control Assistant; Emergency Lane Assistant Hands Off 60 Assistant. |
| B661519 | 2022-05-16. Service bulletin. EQUIPMENT; LANE DEPARTURE; STEERING. The steering intervention for Lane Departure Warning (LDW) is too strong (severe), which can create an uncomfortable feeling for the driver. Background: Steering intervention helps keep the vehicle in the lane if the system detects that a lane marking has been crossed. The steering intervention can be noticed on the steering wheel and can be manually overridden at any time. |
